<div>Overview:

The Site Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily scheduling of the ROI Specialists at specific client site. The Site Supervisor will act as the liaison between MRO and Client Management staff to ensure that all ROI activities are compliant with established client policies, federal and state regulations and are completed in a timely manner.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manages workflow among on-site employees to ensure maximum productivity and quality standards are met. Adjusts work assignments as needed to cover peak periods, leave and vacancies. Prioritizes work to ensure completion of ROI function.</li><li>
Adjusts work assignments as needed to cover peak periods, leave and vacancies at the staffed hospital sites.</li><li>
Provides coverage in event of backlogs, illness, vacation or leave of absence of medical record staff.</li><li>
Performs Quality Assurance monitoring of work performance for the ROI Specialists.</li><li>
Conducts productivity and work performance reviews for ROI Specialists in accordance with MRO/customer policies and procedures and Federal/State law.</li><li>
Monitors performance and provides performance feedback and evaluations for ROI Specialists. Monitors and approves paid time off and schedules for all staff.</li><li>
Promotes a positive self-image of MRO with emphasis on customer service by treating patients, co-workers, and medical center personnel with courtesy and respect. Responds to customer needs in a positive and efficient manner.</li><li>
Provides support to the Area Manager, as needed.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School Diploma/GED required.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s and/or Associates Degree in Health Information Management, Business Administration or health related field or equivalent experience is preferred.</li><li>
1 years supervisory/management experience in acute care setting.</li><li>
Knowledge of HIPAA privacy information standards required.</li><li>
Demonstrates excellence in written communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications required.</li></ul><div><b>
Physical Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Position requires standing, sitting, lifting up to 20 pounds.</li><li>

Site Supervisor, Medical Records, Release of Information

<div><div>The ROI Specialist &ndash; Local Travel is responsible for providing support at various client sites for the Release of Information (ROI) requests for patient medical record requests*</div><div></div><div><b><i><br>
This position requires travel between West Chester, PA and Norristown, PA</i></b></div><br>
<ul><li>
Determines records to be released by reviewing requestor information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines and obtaining pertinent patient data from various sources, including electronic, off-site, or physical records that match patient request.</li><li>
Answer phone calls concerning various ROI issues.</li><li>
If necessary, responds to walk-in customers requesting medical records and logs information provided by customer into ROI On-Line database.</li><li>
If necessary, responds and processes requests from physician offices on a priority basis and faxes information to the physician office.</li><li>
Logs medical record requests into ROI On-Line database.</li><li>
Scans medical records into ROI On-Line database.</li><li>
Complies with site facility policies and regulations.</li><li>
At specified sites, responsible for handling and recording cash payments for requests.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>
<ul><li>
Demonstrates proficiency using computer applications. One or more years experience entering data into computer systems. Experience using the internet is required.</li><li>
Demonstrates the ability to work independently and meet production goals established by MRO.</li><li>
Strong verbal communication skills; demonstrated success responding to customer inquiries.</li><li>
Demonstrates success working in an environment that requires attention to detail.</li><li>
Proven track record of dependability.</li><li>

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is preferred.</li><li>
Ability to travel between facilities.</li><li>
