Location: Haverstraw Place Apartments located Haverstraw, New York<h2 class="jobSectionHeader">
Full time 40 hours a week.</h2>
On-Call Requirement: 
This position requires availability for on-call duties 24/7, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.<div>
Job Summary: 
The Maintenance Technician ensures the proper operation, safety, and upkeep of senior housing facilities. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role also involves supervising junior staff and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and necessary repairs.</li><li>
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.</li><li>
Maintain cleanliness and safety in common areas.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes.</li><li>
Supervise and train junior maintenance staff.</li><li>
Manage maintenance supplies and equipment inventory.</li><li>
Maintain records and report maintenance activities.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma/GED; vocational training preferred.</li><li>
3+ years of maintenance experience (residential/senior housing preferred).</li><li>
Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.</li><li>
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.</li><li>
Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) preferred.</li><li>
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license required.</li></ul>
Work Environment: 
Indoor and outdoor senior housing facility settings with potential exposure to varying conditions. May require on-call availability for emergencies, including evenings and weekends.

Maintenance Technician

<div><h1 class="jobSectionHeader">Job Description:</h1><div>
The Director of Corporate Partnerships is responsible for the strategic execution and management of National Church Residences signature fundraising special events such as the Golf Classic and Mission Day as well as crowdsourcing activities associated with fundraising events. This position is also responsible for directing stewardship, donor recognition, and department communication activities to internal and external stakeholders. 
 
Specific Responsibilities and Duties: 
 
<ul><li>Oversee the coordination of the organization&rsquo;s signature annual fundraising event, National Church Residences Golf Classic at Muirfield Village Golf Club.</li><li>Oversee national and local Mission Day activities including encouraging and supporting Mission Day efforts by Housing and Senior Residential Living communities.</li><li>Manage crowdsourcing and social media fundraising campaigns and other special events as assigned.</li><li>Coordinate the employee giving campaign working closely with employee volunteers and committees</li><li>Create and implement an external communications plan for the department including the website, print and electronic materials, annual report as well as stewardship and recognition efforts.</li><li>Strategically secures funds through sponsorships for events and community impact initiatives.</li><li>Assist with developing effective communication and solicitation activities within specific focus markets</li><li>Create and execute a communications program supporting annual giving including donor updates, new/revised fundraising collateral pieces, donor stories, etc.</li><li>Oversee the updating of donor recognition walls at assigned communities</li><li>Manage a prospect pool with annual goals for personal visits and giving outcomes</li></ul> 
Experience/Education 
 
<ul><li>A minimum of three years successful, hands-on fundraising experience and a demonstrated ability to design and manage special events and an understanding of annual giving programs. He/she needs to have the skills and experience to function independently and have a strong working knowledge of solicitation strategies, social media, donor relations, volunteerism, and communications.</li><li>Strong organizational and administration skills involving fundraising and special events</li><li>Proficiency in fund raising principles and communications</li><li>Solid writing, editing, and presentation ability</li><li>Demonstrated skill in the identification, cultivation, and successful face-to-face solicitation of individuals, corporations, and foundations</li><li>Experience supporting and coordinating the work of volunteer committees</li><li>A working style that builds confidence in staff, promotes teamwork, enhances creativity, and builds consensus in a high-energy and high-task environment</li><li>A high tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment</li><li>Undergraduate degree required</li></ul></div>

We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager that will support the Property Manager in the efficient operation of a senior affordable housing community. This role involves managing daily administrative tasks, assisting residents, and ensuring compliance with housing regulations, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 programs.
Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Assist with the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring it runs smoothly and efficiently.</li><li>
Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.</li><li>
Assist in leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and conducting background checks.</li><li>
Help manage rent collections, enforce lease terms, and address delinquencies.</li><li>
Maintain accurate records of tenant interactions, financial transactions, and property maintenance.</li><li>
Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely completion of work orders.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with all affordable housing regulations and guidelines, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8.</li><li>
Prepare regular reports on occupancy, financial status, and other relevant metrics.</li><li>
Support the Property Manager in budget preparation and financial planning.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in property management or a related field is a plus.</li><li>
Previous experience in property management, preferably in affordable housing.</li><li>
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.</li><li>
Excellent communication and customer service skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li><li>
Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing regulations, including HUD, LIHTC, and Section 8 preferred.</li></ul>

Work Environment: This position involves working in an office setting within the housing community and interacting with residents and staff regularly.
