<div>Purpose

The Patient Contact Center Representative (CCR) II provides excellent customer service and patient engagement to low-income and underserved populations in a virtual call center setting. The CCR II is the first point of contact for new and returning patients into the Neighborcare Health system and serves our community by answering inbound calls related to clinical questions and making outbound outreach calls. The CCR II, in partnership with PCC clinical staff (LPN/RN), will respond to patient questions related to clinical care or symptoms, assist patients in navigating the Neighborcare Health system, respond to scheduling and messaging needs, and provide consistent, accurate, and efficient services that result in an exceptional customer experience.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of adaptability, productivity, and reliability as well as an ability to work independently. They will have effective interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills for both face-to-face and telephone interactions with patients, medical staff, and team members. Candidates will be positive, open-minded, and focused on continuous improvement. They must be able to learn new processes, procedures, and software programs quickly, while demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in their daily work.

 Compensation:
<ul><li>The target wage range for this position is $23.25 per hour to $29.23 per hour.

Primary Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Conduct detailed and accurate chart reviews to extract relevant clinical information necessary for appointment scheduling, care coordination, or response to outside provider inquiries.</li>
<li>Navigate multiple tabs and data points within the EHR (e.g., lab orders, referrals, future appointments, provider notes) to ensure appropriate follow-through and patient guidance.</li>
<li>Schedule appointments in alignment with NCH protocols, provider preferences, visit types, and availability, minimizing scheduling errors such as visit length mismatches or assigning to closed panels.</li>
<li>Serve as a liaison between external healthcare providers and NCH teams to facilitate information sharing and care continuity.</li>
<li>Use sound judgment to determine when a referral to clinical staff or escalation is required.</li>
<li>Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and team members from diverse backgrounds.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>

Key Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities
<ul>
<li>Basic PC skills in MS Windows environment</li>
<li>Experience using EHRs, with the ability to navigate and extract key information.</li>
<li>Basic or limited familiarity with medical terminology and clinical workflows.</li>
<li>Excellent telephone and written communication skills, as well as listening skills and ability to demonstrate tact and patience with callers.</li>
<li>Active listening skills with the ability to remain patient, tactful, and supportive.</li>
<li>Ability to analyze and solve more complex problems that may require research and creative solutions and make sound decisions with limited supervision.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with people of varied racial, educational, and socio-economic backgrounds.</li>

Education/Experience Requirements
<ul>
<li>High School diploma, GED or equivalent</li>
<li>2-years general office experience or experience in a customer service setting</li></ul>

The Dental Assistant is a vital team member and provides chair side support to the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist for scheduled procedures. Dental Assistants are responsible for the preparation and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment needed for procedures in support of patient treatment. Dental Assistants work in partnership and joint accountability with other team members to achieve Neighborcare Health&rsquo;s Mission, Guiding Principles, Service Commitments, and Goals.

In this position you will:

Direct Patient Care
<ul>
<li>Provide chair side assistance by preparing operatory, including cleaning, disinfection, setting up instruments, materials, and appropriate anesthetic for scheduled procedures; including but not limited to, restorative work, surgical extractions, basic endodontics, scaling and root planning, pediatrics, and removable prosthodontics</li>
<li>Interview patient to determine reason for visit and collects patient's vital signs, e.g., blood pressure</li>
<li>Place sealants, perform fluoride treatments, coronal polish, and oral hygiene instruction</li>
<li>Take digital x-rays</li>
<li>Take intraoral photos and digital scans</li>
<li>Take and pour impressions</li>
<li>Fabricate provisional crowns</li>
<li>Mix materials, place rubber dams, matrices, and wedges</li>
<li>Properly pass instruments while maintaining proper aseptic techniques and appropriate safety standards</li>
<li>Anticipate and appropriately respond to patient's needs under dentist's supervision</li>
</ul>
Indirect Patient Care
<ul>
<li>Perform duties and responsibilities with excellence, enthusiasm, great service orientation demonstrating courteous behaviors and mannerisms, and by anticipating dental provider's needs</li>
<li>Perform routine equipment maintenance, as assigned by supervisor and/or Lead</li>
<li>Review patient charts prior to patient treatment</li>
<li>Prepare the clinic for next day's work schedule and patient appointments.</li>
<li>Communicate with dental provider(s) about daily schedules to optimize patient experience. Participate in team huddles, providing patient by patient insights, and help anticipate patient needs and/or care gaps</li>
<li>Schedule appointments for patients in the EHR, as needed</li>
<li>Call patients regarding care needs and document accurately and appropriately in EDR, as directed</li>
<li>Participate in back-office dental meetings, huddles, and staff meetings</li>
<li>Maintain ethical standards and timely reporting of safety events</li>
</ul>
Required Skills:
<ul>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex health care environment</li>
<li>Ability to meet and comply with HIPAA/Confidentiality policies and procedures and to handle confidential and sensitive patient and staff information</li>
<li>Knowledge and adherence of asepsis, universal precautions, and sterilization processes &bull; Knowledge and understanding of dental terminology, instruments, and dental procedures &bull; Ability to work respectfully and effectively with individuals of varying ethnicities, socio-economic levels, cultures and sexual orientations</li>
<li>Demonstrates the ability to conduct discussions of a sensitive nature with staff and patients</li>
<li>Ability to build relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries</li>

Education/Experience Requirements:

<li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>A current Washington State Dept. of Health Dental Assistant license</li>
<li>BLS Certification</li>
<li>Minimum of 280 hours chairside dental assisting experience</li>
</ul>
Preferred Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Completion of accredited Dental Assistant program</li>
<li>1 year of dental assisting experience</li>
</ul>
