Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Medical Director and other clinical staff provides patient care to assist in all aspects of medical practice. This practitioner assists with patient care management, executes administrative and clinical procedures with the scope of the role. Competence in the field also requires that a medical assistant adhere to ethical and legal standards of professional practice, recognize and respond to emergencies, and demonstrate professional characteristics. 
Essential Functions: _<ul><li>
Assists the Medical Director and other clinical staff with the completion of patient intake processes.
</li><li>Completes all clinical documentation as required by the physician, lead nurse, RN supervisor and Clinical/Program Director.</li><li>
Promptly communicates patient issues or concerns to the Medical Director and to the Program Director for other matters. The former includes but is not limited to dose requests, behavior, or any other aspect of patient care that may need to be addressed.</li><li>
Prepares patients for the physician's care, follows aseptic procedures while providing patient care, and performs liznon-intravenous injections including Mantoux testing.</li><li>
Performs basic laboratory procedures to include collection of patient specimens, operates office medical equipment, administers medication as directed by and under the supervision of the physician, provides basic first aid as needed.
</li><li>Performing office procedures including all general administrative duties required by the physician, lead nurse or RN supervisor and Clinical/Program Directors.</li><li>
Monitors and reports patient issues or concerns to the Medical Director and to the Program Director for other matters. The former includes but is not limited to dose requests, behavior, or any other aspect of patient care that may need to be addressed.</li><li>
Is responsible for obtaining and maintaining proper licensure and/or certification according to specific state requirements.</li><li>
Complies with all Local, State, Federal and Colonial Management Group, LP rules, regulations and policies.</li><li>
Acts always in the best interest of patients, the program and company; honors, supports, and protects the proprietary rights of patients and the company.</li><li>
Interfaces with the public and patients by answering phones, greeting visitors, and monitoring patient activities while on center premises.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul>

Essential Qualifications:

Education/Licensure/Certification: High School Diploma or GED equivalent and must have obtained the designation of a certified medical assistant, the medical assistant must receive certification from a certification program accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies, a national or state medical association, or an entity approved by the board. 
Required Knowledge: Must be computer literate and have knowledge of all Microsoft products, especially Google Suite. 
Experience Required: 1 year experience in performing duties as a CMA. Previous health care or substance abuse/mental health experience is a plus. 
 
Skill and Ability: Must possess excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, be able to multitask, prioritize, and be dependable, reliable and flexible.

For over 30 years, New Season Treatment Centers have been a leading national health care service provider of outpatient treatment centers that specialize in providing safe, quality and best in class care for individuals living with Opioid Use Disorder (&quot;OUD&quot;).
Operating in over 70 treatment centers in multiple states, our team members are engaged in medication-assisted treatment, counseling, support, and care management of individuals living with OUD. We treat the whole person and, in so doing, address the underlying causes of OUD in an effort to provide a continuum of care that not only addresses treatment needs but supports the patient on their journey to recovery.
Job Summary:
This position is responsible for performing clerical and administrative services in greeting, registering, and admitting patients, in a healthcare facility. Also, responsible for identifying the best methods to schedule patient appointments accordingly. 
Essential Functions:
Complete the pre-registration process for all new clients and schedule appointments accordingly, including orientation of new patients, monitoring all patient activities on center premises, and providing customer service as a point of contact for patient inquiries, as applicable. Collects co-payments and patient financial responsibility at the time of service. Ensures that all necessary demographics, billing, and clinical information obtained has been entered in the registration system with timeliness and accuracy. Maintain strong communication with Program Director, physicians, and other nursing staff regarding intakes. Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorization as necessary. Complete Administrative tasks including answering phones, check and deliver mail, maintain supply inventory, anticipate supply needs, order supplies, and verify receipt of supplies, as applicable. Maintains confidentiality and safeguards the operations of the business. Keep lines of communication open with the Clinic Operations Team to ensure individualized goals are met. Adheres to the service policy and principle of CMG/New Seasons. Other duties assigned.
