The <b>Inventory Control Clerk</b> is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory. This position reports to the Inventory Control Manager.</p><p></p><div><div><div><div><p><b><br>
Available shift: </b>Mon-Fri 1400-2200</p></div></div></div></div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Maintains and updates inventory records
</li><li>Creates efficient and accurate inventory management procedures
</li><li>Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures</li><li>
Reconciles inventories to book records and make adjustments when necessary</li><li>
Coordinates the annual physical inventory procedures
</li><li>Recommends programs to improve the management of inventory</li><li>
Plans and implements a recoup program to ensure all damaged/defective product is accounted for and properly handled by either dumping, salvaging or returning to stock
</li><li>Maintains records to accurately track recouped product and return saleable product to stock</li><li>
Supervises the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including weekly and monthly reporting</li><li>
Conduct search to locate products within the system, as necessary
</li><li>Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records
</li><li>Ensures corrective measures to prevent discrepancies</li><li>
Develops a program to audit returns and move returned product to its proper location
</li><li>Processes documentation to generate a prompt credit transaction
</li><li>Performs weekly cycle counts and adjusts systems as necessary</li><li>
Develops a program to maintain tight security over the inventory
</li><li>Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection
</li><li>Maintains confidentiality of inventory records to authorized personnel</li><li>
Develop all necessary reports and documentation to facilitate accurate inventory counts including records of all audits, counts and adjustments</li><li>
Complete and issue all necessary records and reports including filing invoices and maintaining customer records in a timely and accurate fashion</li><li>
Communicates and coordinates with customers regarding timing of physical inventories</li><li>
Coordinates with Customer Service Representatives, Supervisors, and Warehouse Supervisors to establish cut-off dates</li><li>
Performs duties as instructed by management</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or GED required</li><li>
Performs duties as instructed by management</li><li>
At least 1 year experience in similar position</li><li>
Computer applications experience using MS Office</li><li>
Excellent oral and written communications skills</li><li>
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills</li><li>
Excellent customer service skills</li><li>
Must be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.</li><li>
Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time</li><li>
Must have no issues with heights.</li><li>
Lift and move totes up to 50 pounds.</li><li>
Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.</li><li>
Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including weekends holidays as needed by the customer.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
