Position Summary: 
 We are seeking a data-driven and fashion-savvy Market Research Analyst to support strategic planning, product development, and growth initiatives within the apparel industry. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical skills with a passion for consumer trends and retail dynamics. You will gather, analyze, and translate market intelligence into clear insights that guide product, marketing, and merchandising decisions. 
Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Conduct in-depth research on consumer demand, fabric preferences, style trends, and pricing expectations within large-scale apparel retail environments</li><li>
Collaborate with the product development team to create new categories or collections that align with market insights</li><li>
Support branding and marketing departments with research related to brand positioning, consumer feedback, influencer partnerships, and digital content trends</li><li>
Analyze internal sales data and market intelligence to generate actionable insights</li><li>
Monitor seasonal fashion cycles, competitor strategies, and global apparel trends</li><li>
Design and execute surveys, questionnaires, and user interviews to support deeper understanding of customer needs</li><li>
Compile insights and present findings in clear reports, charts, and visual summaries for key stakeholders</li><li>
Maintain and regularly update internal databases of trend, pricing, and consumer data</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, fashion merchandising, business, economics, or data analytics)</li><li>
2&ndash;5 years of experience in apparel market research, retail analytics, product strategy, or a related field</li><li>
Strong skills in data interpretation, market analysis, and consumer insight development</li><li>
Excellent communication and presentation skills</li><li>
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment</li><li>
Interest in fashion, apparel retail, and consumer behavior</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>
Experience working with fashion retailers, department stores, or trend forecasting firms</li><li>
Familiarity with data and research platforms (e.g., Google Trends, NPD, Mintel, Similarweb)</li><li>
Basic understanding of fabrics, apparel construction, and fashion buying cycles</li><li>
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, or other analytics tools</li><li>
Exposure to influencer analysis, consumer segmentation, or brand monitoring</li><li>
Self-starter with curiosity, initiative, and the ability to contribute beyond assigned tasks</li></ul><div><ul><li>
Fluency in Chinese communication is preferred, but not required.</li></ul></div>
