About this position</b></p>
<p>
The Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for providing individualized care to customers and their families according to established standards, policies, and procedures. Dependent on clinic, customer populations may include infants, children adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The LPN provides observation, monitoring, and intervention when necessary.</p>

</li><li>May assist with prescription refills under supervision of the provider according to the Clinic Medication Refill Protocol</li><li>Assists the provider and other members of the customer&rsquo;s care team in communicating about the customer&rsquo;s care plan both during and outside of the customer&rsquo;s clinic visit. Will provide assistance in coordination of transportation, surgery scheduling, and other follow up care as needed.

About this position</b></p>
<p>
The Medical Assistant will manage the patient flow throughout the clinic and assist providers in the management and treatment of their patients. Patients come from a variety of backgrounds and various age groups requiring individualized care including infants, children, adolescents, adults, or geriatrics. The focus of the Medical Assistant is on collaborative, supportive and delegated tasks as described in the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice. Delegable tasks and competencies are specific to the role of the Supervising Nurse and Supervising Provider and are described by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice. The Medical Assistant receives direction and collaborates with the Clinic Supervisor, Clinic Manager, and Providers to meet the defined goals of the customer, shift, department and organization. Communication with the health care team related to progress, concerns, questions or problems that arise are an essential element of the Medical Assistant role.</p>
