Sr Lead Data Engineer</div><div></div><div>
Key skills required for the role:</div><ul><li>
Expertise in designing data driven solution on Snowflake for complex business needs.</li><li>
Investment Management or Asset Management experience recommended.</li><li>
Design the database, data models, ETL processes, and data warehouse applications through the use of best practices, tools and patterns.</li><li>
Expert level understanding of relational database concepts, dimensional database concepts and database architecture and design, ontology and taxonomy design.</li><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Economics, Business or Finance or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Intellectual curiosity, inclination for independent and self-directed work, and attention to detail.</li><li>
Professional experience driving change, transformation, and process improvement initiatives.</li><li>
Manage relationships with stakeholders and executive leadership to achieve business outcomes</li><li>
Understanding of data security, cyber-security and PII management</li><li>
Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL data stores, methods and approaches.</li><li>

Roles and Responsibilities:</div><ul><li>
Manage relationships with all stakeholders, with a focus on setting expectations and maintaining ongoing client satisfaction through effective project management and a strong commitment to customer service.</li><li>
Evangelize data strategist working through design, documentation, review and cross team negotiations to support strategic business and technology goals.</li><li>
Displays thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principals and technology</li><li>
Leads technology proof of concepts to ensure feasibility of architecture solutions.</li><li>
Provides architecture direction for engineers in support of a technical pattern.</li><li>
Drives continuous technology transformation to minimize technical debt. Continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the architecture.</li><li>
Looks for opportunities to capitalize on technology advances through analysis of key industry and technology trends to assess potential impact on the enterprise.</li><li>
Participates in defining target state technology architecture and roadmaps. Ensures alignment of IT initiatives with the target state.</li><li>
Contribute to a fast-paced Agile team and participate in multiple aspects of planning, documentation, execution, testing and launch of projects</li><li>
Interface with global teams to collaborative work on business deliveries.</li><li>

Experience :</div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required.</li><li>
Seasoned expert with technical and business knowledge and functional expertise that has been developed over several years.</li><li>

Experience with project feasibility, definition requirements, design and/or project leadership.</li><li>

Salary Range:</div>
$114,500 - 194,700 USD<div></div><div><i>
Salary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Major Duties:</div><div></div><ul><li>Direct Tax:</li></ul><ul><li><div>
Withholding tax (TDS) - Expert knowledge in understanding TDS law and implementing the same in day-to-day activities and guiding relevant stake holders. includes reviews of TDS deductions made, remittance, reconciliation with P&amp;L, filing of quarterly returns and issuance of certificates to vendors.</div></li><li><div>
Advance Tax &amp; Minimum Alternate Tax (AT) - Computation and payment of quarterly advance tax and MAT tax.</div></li><li><div>
Corporate Tax Returns (ITR) - Expert knowledge in computation of corporate tax and preparation of income tax returns, verification of relevant information with audited financial statements for accurate preparations of tax computation and returns.</div></li><li><div>
Transfer Pricing (TP) - Working knowledge of preparation of documents required for TP report and verify TP study report.</div></li><li><div>
Tax Assessments: - Attending to corporate tax, TDS, TP, responding to notices/letters and other tax hearing matters, interaction with tax office should be cordial adhering to internal process and furnish all required information and reports within due dates</div></li><li><div>
Consultants: - Interact and coordinate with company tax consultants on various tax opinion, litigation and general discussion, and maintain cordial relationship.</div></li><li><div>
Internal Controls - Canidate should adhere to internal control process and monitor the same continuously to improve the process efficiently related to all direct tax matters.</div></li><li><div>
Others - Accounting for expatriate tax (TDS), Provident Fund and Professional Tax and filing quarterly TDS returns.</div></li></ul><div></div><ul><li>Indirect Tax:</li></ul><ul><li><div>
Goods &amp; Services Tax (GST) - Expert knowledge required in preparation of monthly GSTR 1, GSTR 3B, Annual GST returns and filing of refund application.</div></li><li><div>
Tax Assessments: - Attending to GST notices/letters and other tax hearing matters and interaction with tax office should be cordial, adhering to internal process, and furnish all required information and reports within due dates</div></li><li><div>
Consultants: - Interact and coordinate with company tax consultants on various tax opinion, litigation and general discussion, and maintain cordial relationship.</div></li><li><div>
Internal Controls - Canidate should adhere to internal control process and monitor the same continuously to improve the process efficiently related to all indirect tax matters. Maintain accurate reconciliation of GST balances between books, GST portal &amp; GST returns.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Skills:</div><div>
Working knowledge required in the following areas:</div><ul><li><div>
Filing and checking of relevant annual returns and forms under Companies Act 2013.</div></li><li><div>
Filing of monthly, quarterly and annual returns with Software Technology Parks of India &amp; Special Economic Zone (SEZ).</div></li><li><div>
Responding to frequent letters and information requested by Reserve Bank of India (RBI).</div></li><li><div>
Working knowledge of other applicable laws and relevant compliance under them.</div></li><li><div>
Maintain cordial relationship with all internal stake holders and address their query and information on timely manner.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Experience &amp; Qualifications:</div><ul><li><div>
Commerce graduate with relevant experience/ CA Intermediate/ CA.</div></li><li><div>
5+ years' experience into Direct &amp; Indirect Tax, Indian Taxation, Tax Compliance etc.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
Shift Timings: This role would be for APAC shift coverage - 9 AM to 6 PM IST</div><div></div><div>
