About UsORION Education &amp; Training has an opening for a full-time Administrative Assistant/Teaching Assistant at our Diploma Completion &amp; Learning Center in Northwest Wichita.This position provides office and clerical support to assist with the efficient operations of the Diploma Completion Program while supporting teachers and helping students working on-site, in class, and online to obtain their high school diploma.To be successful in this role, the Administrative Assistant/Teaching Assistant must work closely with students and staff while providing encouragement, guidance, and academic support.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Support office operations and administrative tasks as needed</li><li>Assist classroom instructors by monitoring and documenting student progress</li><li>Provide tutoring and support with assignment completion</li><li>Help monitor students during breaks and transition times</li><li>Assist students working in on-site and online learning environments</li></ul>Minimum QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>High school diploma required plus two years of post-secondary education or training preferred.</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Experience working with non-traditional or at-risk learners preferred</li><li>Experience working in online learning environments preferred</li></ul>Technology Skills:<ul><li>Experience using Google Workspace applications</li><li>Digital literacy and file management skills</li><li>Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS)</li></ul>Other Skills:<ul><li>Strong communication and organizational skills</li><li>Ability to self-manage and solve problems independently</li><li>Creative thinking and adaptability</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with staff and students</li></ul>Additional Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to pass a drug test and background check</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Employee assistance program</li><li>Flexible spending account</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Retirement plan</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Application Question(s):<ul><li>Are you willing to undergo a Background Screen and Drug Test</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>High school or equivalent (Preferred)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>TA/AA: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Location:<ul><li>Wichita, KS 67203 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
