Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:</b></div><ul><li>Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in diagnosing medical and surgical problems and prescribing necessary treatment and services for quality patient care.</li><li>The Advanced Practice Provider will assist the CVOR staff and anesthesiologists in the preparation of the patient.</li><li>Acts as advanced resource or lead worker in a surgical setting.</li><li>Assists on cardiac surgical cases as designated by the surgeons.</li><li>Remains with the patient at completion of the operation to transfer and transport the patient to the CVICU.</li><li>Remains with the patient in the CVICU until cleared by the surgeons and/or intensivists.</li><li>Maintains call responsibility and able to respond on site within 30 minutes.</li><li>Participates in certain aspects of clinical research as designated by the surgeons.</li><li>Obtains detailed history and performs physical examinations on patients.</li><li>Assists in providing care for patients receiving surgery; writes appropriate orders, including those for perioperative orders.</li><li>Writes and/or dictates progress notes on patient charts indicating patient status and treatment or procedures performed.</li><li>Performs emergency life-saving procedures in cases such cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, massive hemorrhage, or similar catastrophe.</li><li>Performs daily rounds independently or with attending physicians and/or students.</li><li>Operates with the highest degree of independence in provision of patient care services with minimal physician supervision and generally in a highly specialized area.</li><li>Performs under supervision of medical staff member as a physician-extender.</li><li>Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.</li><li>Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.</li></ul>

Mammography Technologist

The Manager of Transport Operations is responsible for leadership and operational oversight at Orlando Health's medical ground base(s), ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care and operations. Acts as the primary liaison among ground crews, air methods, service, dispatch, and leadership. Serves as leadership on call for 24-hour executive decision-making for Critical Care Trucks and the Emergency Transfer Center.</div>
