About the Skuad Acquisition
Back in August 2024, Payoneer acquired Skuad. Skuad's expertise helps businesses in over 160 countries navigate complex challenges such as international payroll, remote onboarding, and regulatory compliance. This acquisition reinforces Payoneer's mission and solidifies Skuad's role as a trusted partner for global workforce management (WFM).

This role will be part of our WFM business unit. 

Role Summary

To achieve our mission to enable remote employment globally, we need to build a world-class product experience backed by our core Payments platform that is seamless, convenient, and reliable for our customers. We face new and exciting challenges every day and need your help to solve them. The Company Secretary Intern will help with the corporate compliance charter for Skuad group entities across the globe (SEA/EMEA/LATAM) including advice on compliance matters as per extant local corporate laws, maintaining corporate records, statutory filings, drafting of corporate documents, audit, administering and resolving secretarial issues. The person will also work on establishing and maintaining organization corp governance practices, standards, and processes.

What you'll do -

<li>Provide support to the group corporate secretary in managing other entities and international expansion activities</li>
</ul><ul><li>Provide company secretarial guidance and support to members of the board of directors to the entities supported</li>
</ul><ul><li>Review and manage secretarial compliances viz the Companies Act and relevant laws and regulations</li>
</ul><ul><li>Provide support and Guidance to the Board, Board Committees, and Independent Directors on Compliance with The Companies Act and relevant laws and regulations</li>
</ul><ul><li>File all necessary documents and reports as mandated under law</li>
</ul><ul><li>Review all agreements and document compliances under various agreements to understand and monitor shareholder and corporate obligations/compliances</li>
</ul><ul><li>Interface with internal and statutory auditors, cost auditors, and other key external stakeholders in connection to compliance with the Companies Act</li>
</ul><ul><li>Create and manage data rooms for the diligence process including access rights, and coordination with internal teams for providing the required documents to investors</li>
</ul><ul><li>Monitor changes in relevant legislation and the regulatory environment and take appropriate action</li>

We are looking for a Team Lead to manage a team of Compliance Review Analysts within our Compliance Operations organisation. This role plays a key part in ensuring operational excellence, compliance integrity, and professional growth of the team, while supporting Payoneer's global compliance strategy.

What will you do...

<li>Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Compliance Review Analysts, ensuring high-quality performance, accuracy, and adherence to SLAs.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Manage daily operations, including queue management, workload allocation, and case prioritisation to ensure timely and effective reviews.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Oversee complex and escalated cases to ensure decisions align with Payoneer's internal policies and regulatory expectations.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Monitor team KPIs, analyse performance trends, identify operational gaps, and drive initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Risk, Data, Strategy, Product, and Training teams to enhance workflows, implement automation, and strengthen internal processes.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing coaching to ensure strong analytical and operational capabilities across the team.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance, AML, and fraud prevention principles relevant to Payoneer's business.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Contribute to global initiatives aimed at standardising processes and improving SLA adherence across regions.</li></ul> 


Have you done this kind of stuff?
<ul>
<li>4+ years of experience leading or supervising teams in Compliance, Risk, Fraud, or Financial Crime Operations.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Hands-on experience in compliance investigations, transaction monitoring, or AML operations within fintech, banking, or payment services.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Proven ability to meet SLA targets, monitor KPIs, and drive operational improvements.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Strong analytical and decision-making skills with attention to detail and sound judgment under pressure.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; fluent English (written and spoken) is required.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Experience working with global, cross-functional teams.</li>
</ul><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Law, or a related field &ndash; mandatory.</li></ul>
