<b>SUMMARY:</b></div><div>
The Electrician installs, troubleshoots, and maintains District electrical systems, circuiting, and lighting. Provides estimated cost of materials and labor and maintains a log of purchases and electrical supply inventory.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Maintains, repairs, and installs electrical systems, including interior and exterior conduit, transformers, power circuits, motors, generators, switches, switchboards, heating and air conditioning controls, exit signs, and emergency lights.</li><li>
Troubleshoots electrical failures on motors, controls, fuses, ballasts, wiring, cooling pumps, heating units, and air-conditioning units.</li><li>
Installs new electrical circuiting and power supplies.</li><li>
Repairs kitchen appliances, i.e., dishwasher, commercial oven, deep freezer, and washers and dryers.</li><li>
Maintains indoor and outdoor athletic field, parking, and security lighting.</li><li>
Maintains paperwork (electronic or hard copy) and processing of work orders.</li><li>
Estimates cost of materials and labor in relation to job.</li><li>
Maintains supply inventory and assigned shop machinery, equipment, tools, facilities and assigned vehicles.</li><li>
Supports the relationship between the Phoenix Union High School District and the public by demonstrating courteous and professional behavior when interacting with students, parents, visitors, and school staff; maintains absolute confidentiality of work-related issues, client records, and school information; follows Governing Board Policies; performs all other related duties as required or assigned.</li></ul><div></div><div><i><br>

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS</b></div><div></div><div><b><br>

High School diploma or GED equivalent; AND four years of experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.<br>
Possess a valid Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card or obtain one within the first 90 workdays of employment.<br>

A valid Arizona State Driver's License is required.<br>

SUMMARY:</b></div><div>
Under the leadership of the teacher or Instructional Leader, the Instructional Assistant works directly with students to aid in daily educational learning and teaching. Supports and assists in preparing instructional materials and implementing lesson plans. Monitors students during lessons and provides additional individual or small group instruction as needed.</div><div></div><div><b><br>
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</b></div><ul><li>
Provides the support services required in implementing the instructional plan as prescribed by the curriculum teacher or Instructional Leader.</li><li>
Monitors students during lessons to ensure they are following teacher's progress; reviews and grades homework and classwork.</li><li>
Researches information for curriculum, implements and prepares lessons under the direction of a teacher.</li><li>

Helps individual student assignments and studies; provides additional explanations or tutoring for individuals and small groups.</li><li>
Assists teachers with preparing materials for lessons; ensures all necessary supplies and equipment are available and used properly by students.</li><li>
Participates in test administration. Maintains individual student folders and student records; administers, scores and records results of tests; collects data on student performance and types correspondence reporting student progress or problems.</li><li>
