Potelco, Inc. is seeking an experienced <b>Quality Control (QC) Manager</b> to join our team for a project in Hanford, WA.</div><div></div><div><br>
The QC Manager will oversee all aspects of the project&rsquo;s Quality Control program to ensure compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, and Potelco&rsquo;s commitment to excellence. This position plays a key role in coordinating inspections, documentation, and testing for all major trades involved in the contract.</div><div>

The pay for this role is an hourly rate of $67.38/hr.</div>
What You'll Do:
<div><b>
Meetings &amp; Coordination</b></div><ul><li>
Coordinate and facilitate QC Program Kick-Off Meetings, Preparatory Phase Meetings, and Initial Phase Meetings.</li><li>
Participate in weekly Project Coordination Meetings in accordance with project requirements.</li><li>
Work collaboratively with BPA and project stakeholders to ensure all contract specifications are met.</li></ul><div><b>
Implement QC Plan</b></div><ul><li>
Oversee the implementation of the project Quality Control Plan to maintain compliance and quality assurance across all construction phases.</li><li>
Review and approve product substitution requests per contract requirements.</li><li>
Maintain and update all as-built drawings and job site record sets.</li><li>
Verify that proposed equipment and materials comply with contract documents and can be installed in allocated spaces.</li><li>
Prepare, submit, and manage submittals and re-submittals in accordance with project specifications.</li><li>
Maintain an accurate Submittal Log and track correspondence with BPA and subcontractors.</li></ul><div><b>
Inspection &amp; Testing</b></div><ul><li>
Inspect received materials to ensure compliance with approved submittals.</li><li>
Confirm proper control procedures are used when performing required tests and that testing procedures meet contract standards.</li><li>
Verify that all recording forms, test identification systems, and test documentation are complete and properly filed.</li><li>
Record and report results of all tests (passing and failing) in the Contractor Quality Control (CQC) Report.</li><li>
Conduct and document follow-up inspections to ensure all deficiencies are corrected prior to final inspection.</li><li>
Coordinate and verify readiness for final inspections and ensure all corrective actions are completed.</li></ul><div><b>
Safety &amp; Compliance</b></div><ul><li>
Proactively identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.</li><li>
Partner with project leadership to uphold Potelco&rsquo;s &ldquo;People First&rdquo; safety culture and maintain safe work practices at all times.</li></ul>
What You'll Bring:
<div><b>
Minimum Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent, Inspector, QC Manager, Project Manager, or Construction Manager on similar size construction projects involving high voltage work.
</li><li>Demonstrated experience in hazard identification and safety compliance.</li><li>
Strong working knowledge of construction practices, testing standards, and documentation requirements.</li><li>
Ability to coordinate across multiple project phases and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.</li><li>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and digital documentation systems.</li><li>
Must pass a mandatory drug test.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license.</li></ul><div><b>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
Experience on projects involving BPA or other federal utility contracts.</li><li>
Experience in power delivery, transmission, or substation construction.</li><li>
Certified Quality Manager or equivalent construction QA/QC certification.</li></ul>
