 Carnegie, PA 15106.
 
 
 
 This is a contractual assignment with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role &mdash; an excellent opportunity to join a respected, high-quality healthcare organization.

 Carnegie, PA 15106
 
 
 
 Core Hours:
 
 12-8pm 2nd shift(40hrs/week)
 
 
 
 Pay Range:
 
 $30/hr per hour (Salary depends on experience, credentials, and certifications)
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Follow laboratory protocols for specimen collection, handling, processing, and testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform and document quality control activities, maintenance, and calibrations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze specimens using approved procedures and review/verify results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and all safety regulations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Notify senior staff of issues affecting test accuracy or performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Troubleshoot and document corrective actions when systems deviate.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report critical or STAT results appropriately and in a timely manner.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate, organized documentation of all testing performed.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure reagents and kits are labeled and tracked correctly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond professionally to client, clinician, or internal lab inquiries.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Required Knowledge &amp; Skills:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Strong understanding of routine laboratory testing and workflows
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work efficiently across multiple computers and LIS systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of QC, QA, and high-complexity testing
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to follow detailed procedures and maintain confidentiality
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS in Medical Technology OR BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology
 </li>
 <li>
 OR previously qualified under 42 CFR 493.1433
 </li>
 <li>
 At least 1 year of clinical laboratory experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Required for non&ndash;Med Tech degrees: 1 year of high-complexity lab experience
 </li>
