 Job Description:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage end-to-end process of Invoicing and Costing
 </li>
 <li>
 Setting up load defaults for all customers in TMS system.
 </li>
 <li>
 Update estimated cost and revenue in each job in timely manner
 </li>
 <li>
 Timely and accurate Invoicing and despatching.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that profit as per initial SO is available, in case of any variation, identify the root cause, raise query to relevant team and inform Team Leader. In case of Loss or GP variance, inform department manager and ensure necessary approval is in place.
 </li>
 <li>
 Control of Open Blocks in Meridian
 </li>
 <li>
 In case of variance in quote vs. actual cost, verify with CS/Product and ensure that additional costs if any are accepted by Customer
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain all rates in shared folder.
 </li>
 <li>
 Resolve issues related to invoice disputes from customer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Despatch invoice in timely manner &ndash; within 1 working day from the date of Invoicing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on missing information / disputed invoices with relevant stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure that supplier invoices are received as per the agreed rates and in case of any variation, escalate to manager
 </li>
 <li>
 Closely follow up with Operations for timely hand over of files and escalate if timelines are not adhered to by Operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 Job Requirements
 
 
 
 Required Skills:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Freight Forwarding experience &ndash; Import / Export
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent MS Excel skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands on experience in Transport Management Systems / ERP Softwares
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Experience and Qualifications:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 2 years of demonstrated experience of Freight forwarding and Logistics operations
 </li>
 <li>
 MBA preferably in Supply Chain or Logistics by a licensed educational institution
 </li>
 <li>
 High standard of computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications and relevant transport management applications.
 </li>

 Scope
 
 
 
 This role will support the accounting operations in all day to day activities such as documentation, reporting, analysis of business transactions and communication with the customers and subcontractor.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Manage and process Accounts Payable transactions, including vendor creation, invoice verification, balance confirmation and payment runs
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare and post essential Journal Entries (JEs), including accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue, intercompany transactions, and fixed asset depreciation/amortization.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepared monthly and quarterly tax filings, linking the books with the E-invoice portal to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standard.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor and resolve discrepancies in vendor accounts and GL balances.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Reconciled GL accounts, analyse variances, and prepared reports to support financial statements, audits, and management decisions.
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate with banks, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve financial issues, improve processes, and maintain smooth operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assisted in month-end and year-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and account reconciliations.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Qualifications/Experience
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 BS degree in accounting, finance or mathematics.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills : both oral and written
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of basic accounting topics, such as tax procedures, accounting software, economics, principles of finance, and standard business practices
 </li>

 Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 A four year BS/BA degree is preferred, not required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prefer at least two (2) years of experience handling import trafficking functions with a freight forwarder/broker.
 </li>
 <li>
 Two (2) to three (3) years of experience in customer service duties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be able to work in a fast paced office.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills required.
 </li>
 <li>
 Candidate must possess a strong team work attitude.
 </li>
 <li>
 Candidate must be PC literate with MS Office applications.
 </li>
