PSI Pax Inc has an exciting opportunity for a Project Financial Analyst, Senior, to join our team.
 Duties &amp; Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Validate data in financial tracking tool against Jupiter/Advana and Navy ERP reports</li><li>
Brief financial insights to Division leadership (monthly/weekly) at Division, Branch and project level.</li><li>
Directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance team understanding of financial tracking tools and application of analytical techniques.</li><li>
Assists with technical project budget execution at lowest task level.</li><li>
Assist with managing project funding acceptance and execution.</li><li>
Oversee financial activities such as tracking the flow of funding through commitments, obligations, expenditures, return and validating financial transactions in Navy ERP against division financial tracking tools.</li><li>
Analyze financial execution data and identify risks and mitigation strategies.</li><li>
Prepare cost-related insights to report variance in monthly plan versus actual expenditures and obligations.</li><li>
Develop expense and obligation plans at the lowest activity, sponsor, appropriation level.</li><li>
Knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and PPBE process.</li><li>
Daily use of Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) to extract, analyze and interpret business and financial reports.
</li><li>Monitor execution, benchmarks, and carry-over funding for all systems/projects consisting of multiple funding appropriations and provide recommendations to assist with meeting expenditure requirements.
</li><li>Compile project level financial data and report Branch level insights</li><li>
Validate data in financial tracking tool against Jupiter/Advana and Navy ERP reports</li><li>
Brief financial insights to Division leadership</li><li>
Directs and mentors junior analysts and conducts training as necessary to enhance team understanding of financial tracking tools and application of analytical techniques</li></ul>
 Qualifications:<ul><li>
At least 10 years&rsquo; experience in functional area above and a Master&rsquo;s Degree (Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline)</li><li>
OR</li><li>
14 year&rsquo;s experience functional area above and a Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree (Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline)</li><li>
At least three years of most recent five years&rsquo; experience must be directly supporting Navy ERP tasking</li><li>
Strong Leadership skills required</li><li>
In depth understanding of advanced concepts and processes and experience applying these with little to no guidance.</li><li>
Strong analytical skills required</li><li>
In depth understanding of excel</li><li>
Be able to perform successfully in complex, unstructured situations.</li><li>
On-Site St.Inigoes support is required</li></ul>
 Education:
<ul><li>Masters Degree in Technical, Business, Computer Science, or IT discipline</li></ul>
