Job Title: File Manager Location: Alabama Fork, Alabama, United States Employment Type: Full-Time Salary: $61 - $79 USD per hour Responsibilities * Develop, implement, and maintain effective filing systems for both electronic and physical documents. * Establish and manage procedures for record-keeping, ensuring documents are correctly classified, stored, and archived. * Control access to sensitive information and ensure compliance with data protection policies and legal regulations. * Manage the entire lifecycle of documents, from creation to disposal, in accordance with company policy. * Train staff on proper document management procedures and best practices. * Conduct regular audits of the filing systems to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. * Retrieve files and documents for staff members promptly and efficiently. * Liaise with different departments to understand their record-keeping needs and provide support. Qualifications * Proven experience as a File Manager, Records Manager, or in a similar administrative role. * Exceptional organisational and time-management skills with a methodical approach to work. * Strong proficiency in document management software and the Microsoft Office Suite. * A thorough understanding of data protection principles and records management standards. * Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * The ability to handle confidential information with the utmost discretion and integrity. * A relevant qualification in information management, archival science, or a related field is desirable but not essential.
