 Salvo Health is looking for an experienced
 
 Engagement Specialist
 
 to conduct outreach and enroll patients in Salvo Health care - helping them get set up with ongoing support and guidance around their GI conditions.
 
 
 Engagement Specialists are responsible for helping patients sign up for Salvo&rsquo;s wrap-around GI care services and for educating patients about the convenience, ease, and health benefits of remote patient monitoring.
 
 
 As an Engagement Specialist, you will serve as the launching point for our partners&rsquo; patients, offering one-on-one advising to ensure patients are set up for success with the Salvo Health's platform and service.
 
 
 This is a fully remote position and requires strong adherence to HIPAA guidelines and privacy rules.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform outbound calls to engage patients of practices and health systems in a discussion about the benefits of Salvo&rsquo;s program and tech-enabled services
 </li>
 <li>
 Enroll patients in Salvo&rsquo;s program and schedule an initial virtual nurse visit to formally onboard patients to Salvo&rsquo;s wraparound GI care service
 </li>
 <li>
 Use established call guides and FAQs to engage and educate patients, and use judgment and written guidelines to respond to questions and objections
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist patients in understanding the cost of the program, including answering questions to ensure they are well-informed about their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the highest quality customer service in every interaction and deliver high quality follow-up in responding to inbound calls and voicemails
 </li>
 <li>
 Accountable for meeting daily, weekly, monthly, or annual key performance indicators (KPIs)
 </li>
 <li>
 Role is M-F with 8 hour shifts

 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 3+ years work experience in an outbound call center or direct sales position required with demonstrated sales results
 </li>
 <li>
 Healthcare and/or functional medicine experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience conducting phone conversations and navigating computer tools simultaneously and seamlessly
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to sit at workstation for a long duration using a computer and headset to interact with patients
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience and comfort handling confidential data
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives
 </li>
 <li>
 Remote work experience preferred
 </li>
 <li>
 Bi-lingual a plus (English/Spanish)
 </li>
 <li>
 Must have a hard wired, high speed internet connection

 Salvo Health takes a new approach to help millions of Americans facing chronic health conditions, centered on chronic gut health and metabolic conditions from IBS to obesity. We bring multidisciplinary virtual care to patients at community specialty care practices, particularly GI and hepatology brick &amp; mortar clinics around the US. We assign each patient a &ldquo;whole patient&rdquo; care team and offer daily access to app-based care, using Remote Patient Monitoring (&ldquo;RPM&rdquo;) and Chronic Care Management (&ldquo;CCM&rdquo;) to bill. These services are covered by most patient&rsquo;s insurance, both Medicare and commercial. Salvo represents a major step forward to go beyond episodic appointments to continuous care, and deliver interdisciplinary wraparound care in partnership with the patient&rsquo;s existing specialist.
