 Aircraft Condition &amp; Functionality:
 
 Ensure the aircraft and its components are maintained in optimal condition and fully functional at all times.
 
 
 
 Maintenance &amp; Installation Tasks:
 
 Perform a wide range of maintenance activities including assembly and installation of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural systems.
 
 
 
 Structural Integrity Checks:
 
 Inspect fuselage, wings, and tail sections for corrosion, distortion, and hidden cracks using advanced tools such as X-ray and magnetic inspection equipment.
 
 
 
 Line Service Operations:
 
 Conduct routine servicing tasks including cleaning, refueling, and oil changes for line service aircraft.
 
 
 
 Regulatory Inspections:
 
 Carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections in accordance with aviation regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
 
 
 
 Component Diagnostics:
 
 Examine aircraft systems such as landing gear, hydraulics, and deicing units to identify cracks, leaks, or other faults.
 
 
 
 Surface Preparation:
 
 Prepare and treat aircraft surfaces as required for maintenance or painting.
 
 
 
 Fuel System Maintenance:
 
 Remove, inspect, repair, and reinstall in-flight refueling systems and external fuel tanks.
 
 
 
 Structural Repairs:
 
 Trim, shape, and install replacement body sections using adhesives, hand tools, and power tools to ensure precise fit and secure placement.
 
 
 
 In-Flight Support:
 
 Accompany aircraft on flights when necessary to perform in-flight adjustments and corrective actions.
 
 
 
 Bonded Structure Curing:
 
 Cure bonded components using portable or stationary curing equipment to ensure structural integrity.
 
 
 
 Airframe Inspection:
 
 Inspect the airframe for signs of wear, fatigue, or other defects that may affect performance or safety.
 
 
 
 Component Alignment &amp; Installation:
 
 Align and install repaired or replacement parts using clamps, wrenches, and prepare for riveting or welding.
 
 
 
 Maintenance Documentation:
 
 Maintain accurate logs of all preventive and corrective maintenance activities performed.
 
 
 
 Precision Measurements:
 
 Measure wear on parts using precision instruments and assess control cable tension to ensure operational standards.
 
 
 
 Fuel &amp; Oil Sampling:
 
 Collect and analyze fuel and oil samples to detect contamination or irregularities.
 
 
 
 Technical Interpretation:
 
 Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and technical specifications to determine repair feasibility and procedures.
 
 
 
 Problem Diagnosis:
 
 Analyze pilot-reported issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
 
 
 
 Defect Access &amp; Repair:
 
 Remove or cut out defective components and drill access points to reach internal damage using appropriate tools.
 
 
 
 Component Replacement:
 
 Replace or repair worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts using specialized tools, gauges, and testing equipment.
 
 
 
 Compliance &amp; Quality Standards:
 
 Adhere to all applicable procedures, safety regulations, and quality service standards throughout maintenance operations.

Aircraft Maintenance Technician

 To command assigned aircraft safely and efficiently in accordance with SAUDIA&rsquo;s policies, GACA regulations, and international aviation standards, ensuring the highest level of operational performance, passenger safety, and service quality.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Accountabilities:

 Exercise full command responsibility for the safe and legal operation of the flight.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure strict adherence to flight schedules, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead and manage the cockpit and cabin crew throughout all phases of flight.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct pre - and post-flight briefings, reporting, and documentation accurately.
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent SAUDIA professionally with passengers, crew, and external stakeholders.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform route and aircraft-specific duties including international and domestic operations.
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor aircraft systems, fuel management, and flight performance.
 </li>
 <li>
 Respond promptly and effectively to operational, meteorological, and technical challenges.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain current knowledge of SAUDIA flight manuals, notices, and bulletins.
 </li>
 <li>
 Complies with all relevant safety, quality, health and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
 </li>
 <li>

 Qualification &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Valid GACA/ICAO ATPL with B777 type rating.
 </li>
 <li>
 Total Flying Hours: 6000 hrs. of which at least 2000 PIC hours on Type, OR 3000 as PIC on wide body commercial aircraft with MTOW in excess of 160,000 KGs OR 2500 as PIC of which 1500 on narrow body commercial aircraft with MTOW in excess of 35,000 KGs &amp; 1000 hours minimum on type.
 </li>
 <li>
 ICAO Language proficiency endorsement of level 4 or higher.
 </li>
 <li>
 Valid ICAO member state or GACA First Class Medical Certificate.
 </li>
