Education</b></h1><p>
A high school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree in business or accounting preferred.</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Role and Responsibilities</b></h1><p>
Responsible for performing a variety of duties to support the assigned credit fulfillment function; coordinating work within the unit or department, as well as with other departments and units; reporting pertinent information to the immediate supervisor; responding to inquiries or requests for information; assisting the immediate supervisor with administrative tasks to support department/unit operations.</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Duties</b></h1><div><ul><li>
Performs a variety of duties to support the assigned credit fulfillment function of which the following are illustrative:</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Assists with loan application processing tasks, e.g., obtains required information, compiles data, orders credit reports, as directed, rudimentary credit analysis</li><li>
Collects/reviews all required financial data prior to submission to the Credit Department and assists with preparation of loan presentation or request as necessary</li><li>
Interfaces with vendors as needed to obtain required documentation to close the loan, including, but not limited to, ordering appraisals, ordering title work, UCC search, certificates of good standing, insurance forms (property, title, etc.), Ag equipment lists, environmental checklists or lawyer prepared documents as needed.</li><li>
Reviews executed loan documents for accuracy and completeness prior to funding a loan; prepares tickets to fund loan; confirms funding</li><li>
Verifies a wide variety of credit information which will become part of the credit file, e.g., insurance forms, etc.</li><li>
Maintains required information, gathers missing documentation, and notifies appropriate personnel of credit information deficiencies as appropriate</li><li>
Dispenses credit information within prescribed policy</li><li>
Provides information for, and assists in the preparation of, various loan reports as directed. Maintains a number of activity logs to generate weekly or monthly reports to assist the Commercial Loan Officer</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Reviews/maintains pending loan maturity 90 days prior to maturity date to ensure there are no administrative past dues and to eliminate last minute extensions.</li><li>
Partners with Commercial Loan Officer and/or Credit Department Personnel to resolve past due loans, lines of credit, and delinquent taxes</li><li>
Manage annual reviews (demand and Loan Review); identify/report significant changes in the financial status of borrowers, guarantors, or appraised values of real estate as appropriate</li><li>
Review assigned Commercial Loan Officer&rsquo;s portfolio on a weekly basis.</li><li>
May meet with customers to obtain signatures and to close approved loan.</li><li>
Prepares a variety of correspondence, letters and forms, including commitment letters, letters requesting updated financial information, etc.</li><li>
Interface with loan review/regulators and/or auditors as required or directed by the Chief Credit Officer</li><li>
Assist with management of imaged Credit File documents to ensure all appropriate information is updated and maintained, such as credit memos, correspondence, etc., and all outdated information is removed (as per Bank Policy)</li><li>
Contributes to the Company's growth and customer satisfaction by helping customers to resolve problems with their banking transactions</li><li>
Assist with Construction Loan disbursement documentation, lien waivers, and inspection tracking.</li><li>
Demonstrate financial literacy, including the ability to interpret and analyze basic financial documents such as personal financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements, as well as an understanding of commercial loan structures.</li><li>
Possess a working knowledge of title commitments, operating agreements, and entity formation documents, with the ability to assess ownership and beneficial ownership, determine guarantor requirements, and verify authorized signing authority.</li><li>
Ensure accuracy and timeliness in the preparation and transfer of loan packages to Loan Operations and Servicing teams.</li><li>
Exhibit a proactive approach and a strong commitment to service by supporting both lenders and customers as needed, including taking on responsibilities beyond core duties when appropriate.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of sexual harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the workplace.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the bank&rsquo;s compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g., Community Reinvestment (CRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate company personnel.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other company personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Coordinates departmental tasks with coworkers inside and outside the department in order to ensure an efficient process and the completion of essential tasks needing proper segregation of duties.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Assists the immediate supervisor with various administrative tasks to support department operations, as directed; may also be assigned special projects.</li></ul></div><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
