 Sephora Internships provide an inclusive and comprehensive experience that equips young professionals with the tools needed to align their passions with work. The 10-week internship program develops early career professionals by providing interns with hands-on learning, personal and professional networking opportunities, and the ability to work on projects that directly impact the business.
 
 
 The Sephora internship program is also a prerequisite for consideration for LEAP, the cross-functional rotational program that provides on-the-job training in each of three Business Units-Supply Chain, Marketing, and Merchandising, over the course of nine months. LEAP prepares successfully performing trainees for a full-time, entry-level role in one of the three Business Units. Interns are invited to apply to LEAP at the beginning of the summer internship.

You&rsquo;ll collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to gather insights, provide expert advice, and craft strategic communication plans that ensure the successful adoption and execution of key initiatives.  Create and execute a comprehensive and compelling communication strategy for stores and retail leadership, addressing all facets of the business to drive clarity and alignment

 Qualifications &amp; Experience

 Retail communications or communications in a professional environment (preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Retail experience preferred, but not required
 </li>
 <li>
 Exceptional writing communication skills (with strong grammar and spelling skills) ensuring clear and effective messaging
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with an emphasis on Microsoft Word templates, styles and formatting. Experience with Retail Zipline is a plus
 </li>
 <li>
 Highly collaborative with excellent listening and negotiating skills, driven by a strong desire to understand and meet business partner needs
 </li>

 YOUR ROLE AT SEPHORA...
 
 
 
 Do you have an eye for detail and thrive wearing many hats? As Employee Engagement &amp; Communications Intern, you will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager of Communications and Employee Engagement to help maintain create an incredible employee experience for our corporate audience. Not only will you assist in executing our events, but you will be able to support in writing communications which touch almost 2,000 of our Sephora employees!
 
 
 
 What You Will Accomplish

 You will work with internal newsroom team to learn how to maintain, administer, and create intranet site content including documents, video, photos, and other related media
 </li>

 Support event logistics including but not limited to vendor sourcing and management, timeline management, project planning, budget management and ensuring our vendors are paid in a timely manner

 Coordinate with internal teams and facilities to deliver successful onsite events
 </li>

 Capture recaps which support archiving processes to ensure ROI on events
 </li>
 <li>
 Drafting, editing, and publishing news content for our weekly Take A Beat section of the newsletter

 Qualifications &amp; Experience

 1-2 years of studies within communications, PR, journalism, or related field

 Excellent writing and communications skills (creativity welcome!)

 Experience with web and digital content publishing platforms such as SharePoint, Word Press, Drupal, Mailchimp or similar.

 <li>
 Relevant experience in event production including coordination and project management

 Skilled with Microsoft Office suite or collaboration software (e.g., Smartsheet, Box). Adobe suite knowledge and experience a plus.
