Job summary:

Marketing Specialist (MS) will provide support to managers and executives by contributing to marketing campaigns and projects. They perform a variety of duties within SFA&rsquo;s Development department, including creating social media campaigns, analyzing data, and event planning. MS will work in a variety of office settings and may travel occasionally.

Qualifications:

Requirements:
<ul>
<li>One (1) years experience in marketing and communications
<ul><li>Working knowledge of Social Media platforms</li>
</ul></li><li>Experience with event planning</li>
<li>Ability to pass a drug screening and State of Alaska background check</li>
</ul>
Preferred:
<ul>
<li>Photography skills and experience</li>
<li>Proficient in Canva and/or other graphic design platforms</li>
<li>Comfortable with AI and newer technologies</li></ul> 


Skills required:
<ul>
<li>Excellent written, verbal and organizational skills</li>
<li>Punctuality and consist reliability in reporting to work</li>
<li>Understanding of marketing and public communications</li>
<li>The ability to:
<ul><li>Be a team player, demonstrating motivation, exercising discretion and dependability</li>
<li>Maintain confidentiality and treat everyone with dignity and respect</li>
</ul></li><li>Basic computer skills and fluid use of electronic communication tools</li></ul> 


Job responsibilities:
<ul><li>Manage Set Free social media platforms
<ul><li>Create campaigns</li>
<li>Track analytics</li>
</ul></li><li>Work with vendor to update Set Free Website to keep it current</li>
<li>Administrate Set Free mailing lists and marketing spreadsheets</li>
<li>Create press releases</li>
<li>Assist with the creation, setup, facilitation and completion of marketing events</li>
<li>Oversee the design and graphics of marketing materials</li>
<li>Conduct market research to better understand the marketing needs of the organization, staff holders and its target audience</li></ul></div>
