<li>Works collaboratively with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary and not duplicative.</li>
<li>Builds and strengthens relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings.</li>
<li>Activities include sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows, etc.</li>
<li>Develops relationships within community to strengthen and expand customer base for sales opportunities.</li>
<li>Manages and develops relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Provides accurate, complete and effective turnover to Event Management.</li>
<li>Participates in sales calls with members of sales team to acquire new business and/or close on business.</li>
<li>Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence).</li>
<li>Identifies new business to achieve personal and location revenue goals.</li>
<li>Understands the overall market - competitors&rsquo; strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand etc. and knows how to sell against them.</li>
<li>Closes the best opportunities for the location based on market conditions and location needs.</li>
<li>Gains understanding of the location&rsquo;s primary target customer and service expectations; serves the customer by understanding their business, business issues and concerns, to offer better business solution.</li>
<li>Supports the company&rsquo;s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.</li>
<li>Services our customers in order to grow share of the account.</li>
<li>Executes and supports the company&rsquo;s customer service standards.</li>
<li>Provides excellent customer service consistent with the daily service basics of the company.</li>

Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Verify availability of room type and rate. Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers. Accommodate and document special requests. Answer questions about property facilities/services and room accommodations. Follow sales techniques to maximize revenue. Input and access data in reservation system. Indicate special room reservation types (e.g., complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations) by inputting the correct code and rate into the reservation system. Follow proper escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Oversee accuracy of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. Communicate company values and/or culture to new employees. Review and implement new Reservations procedures. Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail. Identify guest reservation needs and determine appropriate room type. Assist management in training, scheduling, counseling, and motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
