As an LOD Program Administrator, you will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment where ideas are shared, and collective success is celebrated.
The Learning &amp; Organizational Development (LOD) Program Administrator is responsible for managing, coordinating, and implementing learning and development programs across the organization. This role ensures that all training initiatives are strategically aligned with business goals, efficiently executed, and continuously improved to meet the evolving needs of Simpson Strong-Tie and its employees. The Program Administrator oversees the master training calendar, supports content and curriculum development, drives process optimization, and manages program logistics, data analysis, and vendor relationships. By leveraging data and collaborating with L&amp;OD leadership, this position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and organizational excellence.
WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Program Management (50%)<ul><li>
Develop, manage, and oversee the master training program schedule, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and optimal use of resources. Communicate program timelines and updates effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li><li>
Coordinate all logistics for training sessions, including facilitator scheduling, venue arrangements, material preparation, and shipping/printing. Continuously streamline administrative processes to enhance efficiency and learner experience.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and timely records in the Learning Management System (LMS), including tracking of session enrollment, participation, and completion. Analyze data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>
Design and implement evaluation frameworks to assess training effectiveness, incorporating pre- and post-assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms.</li><li>
Develop and deliver analytics that measure program impact, including learning outcomes, behavioral changes, and alignment with business goals.</li><li>
Create and present reports that communicate key metrics, insights, and actionable recommendations to stakeholders.</li></ul>
Content and Curriculum Management (20%)<ul><li>
Support the development and maintenance of training materials and e-learning content, ensuring consistency and quality across delivery formats.</li><li>
Monitor training content to ensure it is current, relevant, and aligned with organizational objectives and compliance standards.</li><li>
Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to ensure content supports measurable learning objectives and performance outcomes.</li></ul><div></div>
Process Optimization &amp; Innovation (20%)<ul><li>
Partner with LO&amp;D leadership to implement and continuously enhance training programs that support business priorities and talent development strategies.</li><li>
Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and impact of LO&amp;D operations.</li><li>
Champion the adoption of innovative technologies and best practices in training administration and program management.</li><li>
Continuously refine evaluation tools and methodologies to improve the accuracy and relevance of training impact assessments.</li></ul>
Budget &amp; Vendor Management (10%)<ul><li>
Manage and track expenditures related to vendors, supplies, and program delivery. Provide timely and accurate reporting to support budget oversight and decision-making.</li></ul>
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor&rsquo;s degree; 3+ years in training coordination or LO&amp;D support.</li><li>
Instructional design, LMS platforms, virtual training tools preferred.</li><li>
Smartsheet (preferred), Microsoft Office with proficiency in excel.</li><li>
Ability to prioritize and complex multiple tasks independently with accuracy and quality.</li><li>
Ability to interpret training data, generate actionable insights, and present findings to stakeholders.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify challenges and develop creative solutions.</li></ul>

$65,200 - $125,100 / year

YOU
As the Human Resources Coordinator you will partner with the Human Resources Business Partners, HR Team, and Branch to drive company initiatives. You will create an environment of positive employee relations, keep confidentiality, establish trust and credibility, be seen by employees and management as approachable and fair, balance business needs with employee needs, and spend significant time interfacing directly with the employee base.
WHAT YOU&rsquo;LL BE DOING (% of Time)
Attract, hire and engage a no-equal workforce. (50%)<ul><li>
Provides assistance with recruiting processes and acts as the primary on-boarding representative, being instrumental in engaging quality candidates; orienting new employees to Simpson and their departments; and supporting supervisors through transitions/milestones.</li><li>
Responsible for personnel file creation and maintenance and other onboarding processes as necessary. Interface with home office Payroll to ensure HRIS accuracy. Process terminations including requesting final check and collecting applicable company property.</li></ul>
Drive and Support a Values-Based Culture
<ul><li>Partner with employee and manager to effectively resolve conflict; conflict resolution.</li><li>
Assist HR team with supporting branch and company HR initiatives. Help the HR department sustain cultural elements of the organization while supporting change. Assist and empower employees to utilize systems and programs. Assist branch HR department with &ldquo;total organization,&rdquo; including managing deadlines, supporting high-quality communication, documenting policies and procedures and reporting. Represent Simpson and the HR department&rsquo;s vision, mission and values at all times.</li></ul>
Implement sustainable and scalable processes, tools and technology to enable effective HR delivery by increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of HR. (30%)<ul><li>
Provide exceptional, &ldquo;no-equal&rdquo; customer service to employees, external customers, management, and HR counterparts.</li><li>
Assist with employee services and programs. Respond to requests from government agencies, banks, including: Employment verifications, EDD, State Disability, garnishment notifications, and payroll deductions.</li><li>
Other coordinator duties/activities as assigned</li></ul>
Elevate leadership capabilities and prepare the next generation workforce. (20%)<ul><li>
In partnership with L&amp;OD, ensure the success of the Strong Leaders, Mentorship and other learning and development programs. Drive participation and engagement to ensure programs are successful and results in an increase in leadership skills and effectiveness. Support and/or facilitate monthly step up sessions as needed.</li></ul>
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Business, HR, Communication or Liberal Arts or other applicable degree/ or at least 5 years of equivalent work related experience.</li><li>
1 year of experience in progressive human resources experience with a focus in training, full cycle recruiting, employee relations, policy interpretation and administration, and performance management.</li><li>
HR Certification such as: HRCI/SHRM related Certification</li><li>
Communication: Communicate verbally in an appropriate way for the audience he/she is speaking to. Communicate effectively with co-workers. Listen with full attention to what others are saying, making sure to understand the needs being expressed, asking questions as appropriate without interrupting at an inappropriate time. Ability to effectively present information to top management, customers, and other groups.</li><li>
