 As a Content Creator, you&rsquo;ll concept, write, shoot, and edit creative that stops thumbs, turns heads, and drives action. You&rsquo;ll collaborate with a passionate crew of makers who understand that great storytelling is part emotion, part strategy, and all hustle.
 
 YOUR DAILY PLAYLIST:

 The hourly compensation range for this role is $17.50 to $19.99 Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate&rsquo;s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Content Creator

 WSYX/WTTE has an immediate opening for a creative News Producer! In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day production of our newscasts. This position will also work closely with the Executive Producer, Director, Assignment Desk and Anchors on the newscast and its content. In this position you will determine the content and flow of newscasts, work with management and on-air staff to generate and write stories and develop content for our web site.
 
 
 
 The ideal candidate will have:

 Solid news judgment
 </li>

 Be a compelling and accurate writer
 </li>
 <li>
 Be able to multitask and manage time in order to put together an exciting and informative newscast
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment

 Strong leadership and communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 The ability to execute news strategies and goals in daily newscasts
 </li>
 <li>
 Flexibility and on-the-spot problem solving abilities are a must
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficient with non-linear editing (i.e. Avid) and newsroom systems, such as iNews
 
 
 </li>

 Experience:

 Must have have some previous news producing experience at a commercial TV station, although the right entry-level candidate may be considered

 Internship Overview
 
 
 
 WSYX is seeking motivated, enthusiastic students for our Summer Internship Program. This unpaid internship offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced newsroom and television station environment. Interns will gain exposure to broadcast operations, content production, and the daily workflow of a local media organization.
 
 
 This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing careers in journalism, communications, media production, marketing, or related fields.

 KHGI seeks an enterprising and aggressive reporter to join our team of investigative and consumer reporters. We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of how to dig for a story, research it, write it with an edge, and use strong storytelling and TV production to make it impactful and memorable. The ideal candidate is an aggressive reporter with deep curiosity and unrelenting commitment to get to the bottom of an issue and hold individuals accountable.
 
 
 
 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Develop and maintain contacts and sources in the community to enterprise story ideas

 Identify and pitch investigative angles to big daily news stories

 Work closely with Producer and Executive Producer to refine investigative pitches and story scripts

 Write online versions of investigative reports and work with Digital Investigative Producer on "web extra" content for each investigation

 Requirements:

 Must be able to develop and maintain sources

 Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must

 Knowledge of the FOAI (Freedom of Information Act) process, computer-assisted reporting, and data-driven reporting along with familiarity of legal issues related to investigative television news reporting are essential

 Strong writing skills and knowledge of current events
 </li>
