 About the role
 
 :
 
 
 We are seeking Expressions of Interest for an experienced Design Manager to support a large-scale urban development and master planning project in Oman.
 
 
 
 
 
 The role will be based in Oman for an anticipated duration of approximately 12 to 15 months and will play a key role in leading multidisciplinary design delivery, client engagement, and coordination with international design partners and local sub consultants.
 
 
 
 
 
 This role is suited to a senior Design Manager with strong consultancy experience and the ability to manage complex, multidisciplinary design environments.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key responsibilities
 
 :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead and manage multidisciplinary design teams across master planning and infrastructure workstreams
 </li>
 <li>
 Act as a primary interface with the client and key stakeholders
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with international design partners and local sub consultants
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage design development in line with approved briefs, scope, programme, and budget
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead design reviews, stage gate approvals, and technical coordination
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with contractual, technical, and governance requirements
 </li>
 <li>
 Support procurement activities, including RFP and tender documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide bid stage input and support transition into project delivery upon award
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Key requirements
 
 :
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Degree in architecture, engineering, planning, or a related discipline
 </li>
 <li>
 Extensive experience in design management within a consultancy or client-side environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong background in large-scale urban, township, or mixed-use developments
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven client-facing and stakeholder management capability
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working across the GCC region
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior Oman experience is highly desirable
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to be based in Oman for the project duration
 </li>
