 The role
 
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 Survey Helper
 
 for a Roads and Highways project based in Uthal, Balochistan, Pakistan. The candidate will assist the survey team in conducting field surveys, preparing cross-sections, and performing leveling and alignment checks under the supervision of the Surveyor or Resident Engineer to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist the survey team in performing duties as assigned by the Surveyor or Resident Engineer.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support survey activities, including setting up survey instruments and preparing cross-sections.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help maintain accurate survey and level books for all site activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in verifying structure layouts against approved drawings and checking alignment.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support the Resident Engineer and Surveyor in monitoring survey operations and ensuring compliance with quality standards.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
 
 
 
 Suitable Applicants Will Have/be
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Tertiary qualifications: Diploma in Civil/Surveyor or a related discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Some basic knowledge of survey work or interest to learn on the job.
 </li>
 <li>
 Willingness to work outdoors and support field activities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Basic understanding of survey instruments is a plus but not required.

 The role
 
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 Site Inspector
 
 for a Roads and Highways project based in Uthal, Balochistan, Pakistan. The candidate must have experience in field inspection and testing of highway works, including pavements, embankments, and bridges, to ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
 </li>
 <li>
 Report any non-conformance or safety hazards to the Resident Engineer promptly.
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist in daily site progress monitoring and prepare field observation notes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors to clarify technical specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support material approval processes, including sampling and verification.
 </li>
 <li>
 Participate in site meetings and provide updates on field activities to the Resident Engineer.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>

 Suitable Applicants Will Have/be

 Tertiary qualifications Bachelors in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

 Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in highway construction and testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Knowledge of field-testing procedures for embankment, pavement and asphalt works.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical specifications and project requirements.

 The role
 
 
 
 We are looking for a
 
 Material Engineer
 
 for a Roads and Highways project based in Kuchlak, Balochistan, Pakistan. The candidate must have experience in supervising and testing construction materials on highway or similar infrastructure projects to ensure quality standards and compliance with project specifications.
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Assist in ensuring the quality of construction materials through field and laboratory testing.
 </li>
 <li>
 Certify material acceptance based on recommended specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Identify and evaluate sources of materials, including quarries and borrow areas.
 </li>
 <li>
 Define and implement material testing procedures and specifications.
 </li>
 <li>
 Verify suitability and availability of materials for earthwork and pavement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare mass haul diagrams indicating quarry locations and estimated quantities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Review and approve material test reports submitted by contractors or laboratories.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with design and construction teams to resolve material related issues.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain proper documentation of all material tests, certifications, and approvals for auditing purposes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with AASHTO, ASTM, and NHA specifications and standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure adherence to project safety and environmental regulations during material sourcing and testing.
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
 
 
 
 Suitable Applicants Will Have/be
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Tertiary qualifications: Bachelors in Geology/Civil Engineering or preferably Masters in (Geology/Geo-Technical/Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 12 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years of relevant experience as a Material Engineer on Highway projects.
 </li>
 <li>
 Expertise in asphalt concrete mix design, material testing, and pavement formation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of construction codes and standards (AASHTO, ASTM, NHA).
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to manage testing procedures and certify material quality.
