Major Duties and Responsibilities:

</li></ul>Client Experience &amp; Relationship Support:
<ul><li>Create a WOW experience by greeting and acknowledging clients warmly and promptly, directing them to proper branch personnel or department.
</li><li>Assist clients in person or on the telephone with questions or concerns, and if needed direct them to the appropriate branch personnel or department.
</li><li>Possess thorough knowledge of all SmartBank products and services.
</li><li>Always maintain client confidentiality.
</li></ul>Operational &amp; Transactional Duties:
<ul><li>Assist in the opening/closing procedures of the branch to accommodate dual control.
</li><li>Process deposit/withdrawal transactions facilitate sale of cashier&rsquo;s checks and other inventory items with accuracy following proper Bank policies and procedures.
</li><li>Process payments for SmartBank loans, local utilities, and other services following proper guidelines and procedures.
</li><li>Process client account maintenance requests (i.e., Change of address, stop payments, etc.) in a timely manner.
</li><li>Assist with ATM balancing.
</li><li>Protect SmartBank&rsquo;s financial interest by controlling and balancing assigned cash drawer and negotiable items received/disbursed. Maintains an acceptable balancing record per established standards.
</li><li>Take responsibility for achieving objectives, and is accountable for his/her results, actions and decisions.
</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Risk Management:
<ul><li>Adhere to SmartBank&rsquo;s established polices and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local banking and industry related laws and regulations. This includes and is not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and bank security policies and procedures.
</li><li>Complete required paperwork when applicable to report any discrepancies or suspicious activity to the Assistant Financial Center Manager, Financial Center Manager or Security Officer.
</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Education &amp; Experience:
High school diploma required. Associates degree preferred. Minimum one year of banking experience preferred. Sales experience preferred.
Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates):
None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
<ul><li>Excellent customer service skills.
</li><li>One- year of banking experience preferred.
</li><li>Ability to apply knowledge and sound judgment in decision-making using established guidelines.
</li><li>Cash handling experience.
</li><li>Thorough knowledge of various Teller Drawer equipment (PODs, Recyclers, traditional cash drawer, etc.) preferred.
</li><li>Proficient level of computer competency including Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Outlook), typing and ten-key proficient preferred.
</li><li>Strong math skills.
</li><li>Strong written and oral communication skills.
</li><li>Detail oriented and ability to function in a team environment.
</li><li>Demonstrates ability to maintain a positive attitude.
</li><li>High level of integrity.
</li><li>Able to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
</li><li>Willing to accept new ideas and methods and be agreeable to change.
</li></ul>Work Conditions:
<ul><li>Able to routinely stand, sit, bend and stoop.
</li><li>Occasionally lift or carry loads up to 40 pounds.
</li><li>Ability to stand for long periods of time as needed.
</li><li>Frequently and regularly required movements using wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
</li><li>Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare and inspect documents or products and operate machinery.
</li><li>Ability to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
</li><li>May be required to travel to various branch locations.
</li><li>Must be available to work the required schedule of the branch office to include Saturdays.
</li><li>May be required to travel to training sessions or meetings.</li></ul></div>
