 Virtual Assistant &mdash; Medical Lab Operations (Remote, Karachi-based)
 
 
 
 
 
 
 SMS Medical &mdash; a U.S.-based clinical laboratory and mobile diagnostics company &mdash; is hiring multiple remote Virtual Assistants to support our daily operations team. You'll be the first voice our U.S. healthcare clients hear when they call, so clear, professional, neutral-accent English is essential.
 
 
 About the Role
 
 
 
 
 
 You'll work U.S. business hours supporting a fast-paced medical lab. This is a phone- and computer-intensive role requiring excellent spoken English, attention to detail, and the ability to stay calm and organized under pressure.
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Answer inbound calls from skilled nursing facilities, physician offices, and providers
 </li>
 <li>
 Enter and manage lab orders in our Laboratory Information System (LIS)
 </li>
 <li>
 Dispatch STAT (urgent) orders and coordinate with field staff
 </li>
 <li>
 Follow up on pending lab results and communicate updates to clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle general administrative and coordination tasks as needed
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Shifts Available (listed in both U.S. Central Time and Pakistan Standard Time)
 
 
 <ul>

 Day: Mon&ndash;Fri, 8 AM &ndash; 5 PM CT &rarr; 7 PM &ndash; 4 AM PKT
 </li>
 <li>
 Evening: Mon&ndash;Fri, 5 PM &ndash; 12 AM CT &rarr; 4 AM &ndash; 11 AM PKT
 </li>
 <li>
 Weekend: Sat&ndash;Sun, 8 AM &ndash; 5 PM CT &rarr; 7 PM &ndash; 4 AM PKT
 </li>

 Requirements
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent &mdash; this is a phone-first role and is non-negotiable
 </li>
 <li>
 Prior voice/phone experience required (call center, customer support, telehealth, BPO, or similar)
 </li>
 <li>
 Reliable high-speed internet, a quiet work environment, computer, and a quality headset
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong data-entry accuracy and multitasking ability
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable working independently during U.S. hours
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiarity with U.S. healthcare or lab systems is a plus (training provided)
 </li>
