The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for providing deep product knowledge, technical expertise, and consultative solutions to prospective clients. This role acts as a trusted advisor to both the sales team and customers, translating complex business requirements into scalable technology solutions.</div>
Responsibilities:
<div>
Collaborate with account executives to identify customer needs and deliver tailored technology solutions.</div><div>
Conduct in-depth product presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements.</div><div>
Analyze client requirements and design technical solutions using company products and services.</div><div>
Respond to technical sections of RFPs, RFIs, and proposals.</div><div>
Serve as the technical liaison between sales, product management, and engineering, providing customer feedback to enhance product features.</div><div>
Assist in the development of technical documentation and sales collateral.</div><div>
Participate in trade shows, webinars, and client meetings as a technical expert.</div><div>
Provide post-sale support for implementation planning and technical handoff.</div><div>
Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor solutions, and evolving technologies.</div><div>
Other duties as assigned.</div>
Qualifications:
<div><b>
Education and Formal Training:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
Experience:</b></div><ul><li>
3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or a similar client-facing technical role.</li><li>
Strong understanding of IT systems, enterprise architecture, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, or software platforms.</li><li>
Ability to communicate technical details clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>
Proficient with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement platforms.</li><li>
Experience with SaaS, cybersecurity, AI/ML, IoT, or data analytics solutions.</li><li>
Familiarity with scripting or programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript, PowerShell).</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
