<div>Accounts Receivable Assistant
Location: Southeast Rehab in North Easton
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our dynamic care team at Southeast Rehabilitation &amp; Skilled Care Center in North Easton. As an AR Assistant, you will assist in the day-to-day accounting function of the facility, including maintaining accurate and timely records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and performing other related accounting duties.
Weekdays shift. Hourly rate at $21 an hour.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Discuss billing situations with residents and/or responsible parties, including the Director of Finance</li><li>Maintain accurate and timely records and reports, including all accounts, journals, deposits, ledgers, etc.</li><li>Maintain accurate census data</li><li>Secure all cash and valuables on hand, per policy</li><li>Maintain the cable/phone billing upon admission and monthly thereafter</li><li>Follow up on all coinsurance receivables and applied income collections</li><li>Complete Medicaid redeterminations when applicable</li><li>Back-up for the Payroll position</li></ul>
Requirements:<ul><li>Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language</li><li>Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action</li><li>Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public</li><li>Must be able to type 45 words per minute and use a 10-key calculator</li><li>Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as be willing to handle residents, staff, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning</li><li>Is knowledgeable in various payment sources as needed and assists resident and families</li><li>Is diligent in collections</li></ul>
