SRM Concrete

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Loader Operator to join our team at SRM Concrete. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating front-end loaders and other heavy equipment to move materials around the plant efficiently and safely. This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes run smoothly and effectively, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Operate front-end loaders and other heavy machinery to transport raw materials, including sand, gravel, and cement, to the mixing plant.</li>
<li>Load and unload materials from trucks and into hoppers, bins, or conveyors as required.</li>
<li>Coordinate with the production team to supply materials according to the production schedule.</li>
<li>Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure operational safety and efficiency. Report any malfunctions or needed repairs to the maintenance team promptly.</li>
<li>Follow all safety guidelines and procedures, including wearing proper safety equipment, to minimize the risk of injury and accidents on site.</li>
<li>Keep the working area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.</li>
<li>Assist with inventory counts and ensure that material supplies are adequate for production needs.</li>
<li>Work closely with plant management to identify operational improvements and implement best practices.</li>
<li>Be willing to assist other team members and departments as needed, including performing manual labor tasks.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Proven experience as a Loader Operator or in a similar role operating heavy machinery, preferably in a concrete plant or similar industrial setting.</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License</li>
<li>Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in industrial or construction environments.</li>
<li>Ability to perform basic equipment maintenance and troubleshoot minor mechanical issues.</li>
<li>Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.</li>
<li>Physical fitness and the ability to perform demanding tasks in various weather conditions.</li>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in heavy machinery operation is a plus.</li>
<li>Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.</li>

Loader Operator

 The Dispatcher plays a crucial role in ensuring the customer's satisfaction in the efficient and effective operation of our concrete plants. This position involves collaborating with multiple concrete plants and working with a team of dispatchers to oversee the ordering process, handle communication with customers, and lead by example towards the goal of excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of safety and quality.
 
Key Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Answer incoming calls and communications with customers, always going the extra mile for our customers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with plant managers, drivers, and sales teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of concrete.</li>
<li>Implement and monitor performance metrics to assess the efficiency and productivity of operations.</li>
<li>Manage customer inquiries and resolve issues related to delivery schedules, product quality, and service.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe working environment.</li>
<li>Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, discuss operational challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.</li>
<li>Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and members of the SRM team.</li>
<li>Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes, contributing insights to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks, delegating when appropriate.</li>
<li>Ability to operate or quickly learn a variety of communication systems, executing directions accurately with speed.</li>
<li>Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving operational excellence.</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with team members, customers, and partners.</li>
<li>Proficiency in various software and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards is helpful.</li>
<li>Willingness to undergo SRM’s pre-employment screenings.</li>
