 Job Description

 Assist therapists with treatments under direct supervision.
 </li>

 Clean and maintain equipment, treatment areas, and linen supply.
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning hot pack machines and disinfecting treatment tables.
 </li>
 <li>
 Set up patients for treatments and assist with exercises as directed by the Physical Therapist.
 </li>
 <li>
 Help with administrative tasks such as filing, answering phones, and scheduling patients.
 </li>
 <li>
 Order supplies and assist with inventory management under the direction of the Clinic Director.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain safety protocols, including equipment checks and fire safety procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to a positive clinic environment and support overall team efforts.

 Qualifications

 High school diploma required; preference given to those pursuing a career in an allied health profession.

 Basic PC skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, database software, and MS Office

 Accept and manage patients within your designated geographical area of coverage

 Plan, prepare, and implement customized therapy programs designed to restore overall function and promote independence in the home setting

 Develop and maintain individualized care plans/goals in collaboration with physicians, patients, and their families

 Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations to assess physical status, range of motion, strength, posture, ambulation, balance, and independence in activities of daily living.
 </li>

 Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate records and prepare reports according to facility procedures.
 </li>
 <li>
 Interact professionally with patients, family members, and staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, Exercise Physiologists, Technicians, Certified Athletic Trainers, and students in direct and indirect patient care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure supervised personnel carry out treatments as outlined in the physical therapy evaluation.
 </li>
 <li>
 Contribute to program development and participate in educational activities for personal and professional growth.

 Assist in outreach community events as directed by the Clinic Director.

 Adhere to state practice act regulations and the American Physical Therapy Association code of ethics.

 What You&rsquo;ll Do:

 Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results
 </li>

 Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines
 </li>
 <li>
 Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians
 </li>
 <li>
 Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies
