Key Responsibilities/Examples of Work:
<ul><li>Conduct initial assessments and home studies for relative/kinship placements, including emergency approvals.
</li></ul><ul><li>Deliver referrals, resources, and support to relative/kinship caregivers and their families.
</li></ul><ul><li>Identify and address challenges to placement stability.
</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with approval and licensing standards and regulatory requirements.
</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct monthly in-person visits with caregivers and youth.
</li></ul><ul><li>Support families through phone check-ins, team meetings, court hearings, and transportation assistance.
</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet the needs of children and families.
</li></ul><ul><li>Utilize platforms such as Outlook, Word, Excel, WebEx, and NFOCUS (training provided).

Requirements/Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: A bachelor&rsquo;s degree in social work, human services, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, mental health care, education, criminal justice, or other closely related area. Consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolled in the final semester of their bachelor&rsquo;s degree. Promotion is contingent on successful completion of degree requirements and required training.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Child and Family Services, case management, or child placing agencies; familiarity with NFOCUS and Microsoft Office suite. One year of relevant experience.
Other: Valid Driver's license is required. Frequent travel required; state vehicle may be provided based on availability. Must be available for evening/weekend hours as needed.

Requirements / Qualifications

Prior supervisory experience.

Job duties/Examples of Work
<ul><li>CFS Hotline Specialists answer and receive all abuse and neglect hotline calls and reports coming in via mail, eFax, website, and email.
</li></ul><ul><li>Gathers necessary information from incoming callers using professional interviewing skills and knowledge to seek collateral information from others. Provide customer service to callers, collateral contacts and professionals, Law Enforcement and other stakeholders that hotline staff come in contact with on a daily basis.
</li></ul><ul><li>Using critical analysis, the hotline specialist will determine the urgency of the call and ensure proper LE and HHS response to immediate safety for children and vulnerable adults. Provides de-escalation and assessment over the phone and referrals to community agencies, resources or other information as needed.
</li></ul><ul><li>May be required to work non-traditional hours, shifts and holiday. Assesses and ensures child, youth and vulnerable adult safety, permanency and well-being while making reasonable efforts to solidify, preserve, strengthen and maintain family unity.
</li></ul><ul><li>Reviews all accessible information in NFOCUS and other data sources to assess the history and other risk factors involved with the abuse and neglect report. Analyzes all gathered information and apply the SDM Intake tool to make a screening and priority decision and determine any immediate safety action needed. Contacts law enforcement as needed. Distribute all intakes to proper law enforcement and the local DHHS office
</li></ul><ul><li>Make all contacts needed for priority 1 intakes and ensure LE is informed of community crime and immediate safety issues. Provides technical assistance and support.

Requirements/ Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications : A Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling, human development, mental health care, education, criminal justice or another closely related area. Consideration will be given to applicants who are enrolled in the final semester of their Bachelor's Degree. Promotion to the Child and Family Services Classification is contingent on successful completion of degree requirements and required training.
Preferred Qualifications : 2 Years of child support experience, SDM IA and Intake trained, knowledge of NFocus. At least one year experience working children and families. Experience in child welfare and/or case management experience, internships with human services/child welfare agencies will also be considered, demonstrated ability to handle high levels of stress and emotionally volatile situations, problem-solving skills, and resiliency to provide excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to effectively manage time and deadlines. Experience with SDM (Structured Decision Making) and SOP (Safety Organized Practice) a plus.
Other : Ability to provide independent travel to occasional training is required. Evening/ Overnight Hours This is a P/T position.

</li></ul>Work Schedule &amp; Flexibility
The training schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. During this period, occasional after-hours field experiences and case-related responsibilities may be required. Following the completion of training, flexible work hours are available. Evening hours may be necessary to accommodate the needs of assigned families. This position also requires participation in an on-call rotation, which includes weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment &amp; Expectations
As a CFSS, you will sometimes enter homes that are in poor or unsanitary conditions and may encounter emotionally difficult situations. Worker safety is a top priority, and training and protocols are in place to prepare and support staff in the field.
You must be able to engage effectively with children and adults from diverse backgrounds, including those experiencing crisis, trauma, or instability. In some situations, you may be required to care for children temporarily while coordinating their transition to safe and appropriate placements.
While the work can be demanding, you will always have support. Ongoing supervision, training, peer support, and collaboration with law enforcement and legal partners help ensure both staff safety and effective outcomes for families. Even when you are in the field on your own, assistance is just a phone call away.

Working under limited supervision, the Office Specialist supports the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Management Department, with a strong focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and the secure handling of medical information. A valid driver&rsquo;s license is required.
 
 
Key Responsibilities :
<ul><li>Handle general office duties including answering phones, managing emails, and greeting visitors.
</li><li>Maintain and update files, records, and databases while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies, and complete Requests for Information.
</li><li>Assist with preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.
</li><li>Scan, retrieve, and import documents within electronic medical record systems.
</li><li>Complete Requests for Information.
</li><li>Complete audits.
</li><li>Serve as a liaison between departments to support coordinated communication and completion of documentation.
</li><li>Provide data entry, transcribing, and specialized assistance as needed.
</li><li>Follow departmental procedures and maintain a high level of confidentiality at all times.

Requirements / Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training in administrative/office support functions, procedures, and methods including the operation of personal computers and office equipment; or areas related to the programs and functions of the employing agency. OR Experience in customer service or public contact; or applying criteria/regulations; and/or performing administrative/office/secretarial support work including use of personal computers and office equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience in a medical or healthcare setting, including familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR), medical documentation, and health information workflows.
</li><li>Strong data entry skills with the ability to handle confidential or sensitive information accurately.
</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and highly detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
</li></ul>Other: This position requires proficiency in English, including the ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend effectively. Some positions may require: specialized training; specific data entry or word-processing speeds; a valid driver&rsquo;s license or independent authorized transportation; and/or criminal history and agency-specific background checks.
