Attorney 4 - Human Resources

BHSH is looking for a dedicated candidate to join our team as an Administrative Professional 3. This role provides essential operational support to the Ryan White Part B Program and serves as a liaison between the HIV Care Services (HCS) section of the bureau and the Third-Party Administrator (TPA). The position is responsible for researching, verifying, and reconciling payments for services to ensure accurate application to clients' insurance coverage. This work ensures clients receive timely access to the medical care necessary to improve health outcomes and reduce the spread of HIV.
The position also supports the processing of provider agreements, helping maintain a comprehensive network of service providers across all 88 counties. As the primary role responsible for these functions, this position plays a key part in ensuring program integrity and supporting fiscal compliance with federal grant requirements. Primary duties:<ul><li>
Monitors TPA cost center budget and reviews and authorizes reimbursements to providers.</li><li>
Creates expenditures in TPA web portal.</li><li>
Conducts research for returned and refunded checks and authorizes action to TPA to resolve payment inquires.</li><li>

BWC OCSEA Selection Rights:

Salary Information: 
Hourly wage is expected to be paid at step 1 of the pay range associated with the position for candidates who are new employees of the state. Current employees of the state will be placed in the appropriate step based on any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code. Movement to the next step of the pay range (a roughly 4% increase) will occur after six months, assuming job performance is acceptable. Thereafter, an employee will advance one step in the pay range every year until the highest step of the pay range is reached. There may also be possible cost of living adjustments (COLA) and longevity supplements begin after five (5) years of state service. 
 
Transportation: 
Position may require travel; therefore, persons occupying this position must be able to provide own transportation &amp;/or legally operate a state-owned vehicle.

<div><div>The Office of the Ohio Attorney General is currently seeking motivated and efficient individuals for an Account Clerk 2 position in the Collections Enforcement Section. The successful candidate will perform a variety of administrative, financial and accounting tasks. This position will work a hybrid remote/in-person schedule. There may be changes to the schedule based on training and operational needs. The position will be headquartered in any of our office around the State of Ohio: Columbus, Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, or Boardman. 
The duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Determines accuracy and validity and prepares vouchers for invoices and the disbursement of funds (e.g. verifies mathematical accuracy).</li></ul> 
<ul><li>
Processes client accounts payables and refunds.</li></ul> 
<ul><li>
Processes account adjustments requested by the business.</li></ul>

Analyzes and processes invoices and other related materials.</li></ul>

Processes remittance for receipt and disbursement of funds and verifies accuracy.</li></ul>
