Child Support Statement: This position is in the Office of Child Support (OCS) which establishes policies and guidelines for the child support program based on federal and state laws. Pay Information

Training Officer

<div><div>Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services
The Office of Fiscal and Monitoring Services (OFMS) Fiscal Services Division is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all the Agency's budget activities. This encompasses the biennial budget process, annual budget implementation, and projecting federal budget estimates. The Division is also responsible for the management of the Agency's revenue, disbursements and financial obligations as well as performing daily federal cash draws, reconciles and reports on federal grant status. The Bureau of Monitoring and Consulting Services conducts monitoring reviews of County Family Services agency programs. Training and technical assistance is also provided to the County Department of Job and Family Services agencies concerning federal and state compliance.
What You Will Do
As the Audit Manager for County Monitoring in Western Ohio, you help county agencies stay in compliance with federal rules and state requirements. You work with the Section Chief to make sure monitoring reviews are completed on time. You also guide and support county agencies by answering questions, offering training, and providing technical help.
You directly supervise five external auditors. You lead their daily work, review their monitoring reports, and ensure they follow audit standards and federal guidelines. You oversee monitoring reviews for Family Service agencies in Western Ohio, including County Departments of Job and Family Services (CDJFS), Public Children Services Agency (PCSA), and Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA) offices. Your region includes the Dayton and Toledo metro areas.
This role also keeps regular contact with county partners. You help counties understand program rules, resolve issues, and prepare for reviews. The job requires strong knowledge of federal compliance, Uniform Guidance, and several federal programs reviewed at county agencies.

Activity Therapy Specialist 2 - 20081534

<div><div>The Washington County Office provides criminal defense representation in the courts of Washington County to clients who cannot otherwise afford an attorney. As the Administrative Professional 1, you will play a key role in client representation by providing secretarial and clerical assistance to attorneys. Daily tasks include opening client files, gathering indigency applications from potential clients at the courts, entering court dates, court filing, distributing discovery materials, and preparing mail. You will support a group of attorneys, as assigned, and you will also work as a team with other administrative professionals to support all attorneys headquartered in Washington County. You will work under the supervision of the office Program Administrator and collaborate with the core support staff team to achieve the common goal of meeting court deadlines and providing quality client service.

Manages a caseload of Workers&rsquo; Compensation claims: Communicates, coordinates &amp; collaborates with internal &amp; external stakeholders (e.g. Disability Management Coordinator [DMC], Medical Service Specialist [MSS], Managed Care Organization [MCO], Employer Management [EM] team, Safety &amp; Hygiene, injured workers, employers, Third Party Administrators [TPA] &amp; rehabilitation personnel) in order to set return to work expectations.</li><li>

Salary Information: 
Hourly wage is expected to be paid at step 1 of the pay range associated with the position for candidates who are new employees of the state. Current employees of the state will be placed in the appropriate step based on any applicable union contract and/or requirements of the Ohio Revised Code. Movement to the next step of the pay range (a roughly 4% increase) will occur after six months, assuming job performance is acceptable. Thereafter, an employee will advance one step in the pay range every year until the highest step of the pay range is reached. There may also be possible cost of living adjustments (COLA) and longevity supplements begin after five (5) years of state service.

<div><div>The Ohio Attorney General&rsquo;s Office is currently seeking an experienced Attorney for a Unit Coordinator position in the Capital Crimes Unit of our Criminal Justice Section, in the Columbus Office. The Capital Crimes Unit is responsible for representing the state in federal habeas corpus litigation brought by inmates on Ohio&rsquo;s Death Row challenging their conviction and/or death sentence.
