Position Summary: 
As a Caregiver you are responsible for providing caring and personalized assistance for residents living in our community. 
<div> 
Required Experience for Caregiver: 
<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred.</li><li>Previous Healthcare, Geriatrics or experience working with the elderly population preferred.</li><li>Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Medical Assistant (MA) Certification preferred.</li><li>Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.</li><li>Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.</li></ul>
Accountabilities for Caregiver: 
<ul><li>Timely &amp; Accountable Attendance: Upholding to work schedules, being ready to start work on time, remaining on the job for the whole duration of shift and limited use of time off.</li><li>1440 Care for residents: Understanding and leading our 1440 care standards so you and your team ensure that each resident and each family has their needs met.</li><li>Communicate resident changes immediately: Providing timely and detailed information to your Wellness Leader regarding any changes to a resident&rsquo;s needs or care.</li><li>Responsible communication with families: Communicating messages tactfully and timely with resident&rsquo;s families and ensuring the message has been received and correctly understood.</li><li>Build strong community relationships: With Wellness and community peers, with families, residents and Leaders.</li></ul></div>
<div>Responsibilities for Caregiver: 
<ul><li>Actively supports our culture &ndash; our pillars and 1440.</li><li>Completion of daily/weekly tasks as assigned by the Wellness Coordinator, as well as assisting others routinely with their assignments if needed.</li><li>Will provide compassionate and competent care for residents by performing the following services:</li></ul></div>
<ul><li>Bathing, showering and grooming assistance</li>
<li>Assist residents with dining</li>
<li>Provides wheelchair and walking escorts</li>
<li>Provides toileting and light incontinence care assistance</li>
<li>Assistance with morning and bedtime routines</li>
<li>Performs light upkeep of resident rooms</li>
<li>Answers resident call signals</li>
<li>Medication assistance, personal care/ medication administration, Assisted Living, Memory Care</li>
</ul>
<ul><li>Completes and documents appropriate records, including pertinent information entered into log book.</li><li>Works scheduled shift but also provides flexibility and is open to helping other shifts if needed.</li><li>Maintains knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures.</li><li>Is knowledgeable of and abides by all company policies and procedures.</li><li>Communicates any concerns regarding resident care, treatment, or changes in behavior to the appropriate person.</li><li>Attends community staff meetings, in-service programs, safety courses, and other required meetings.</li><li>Stays up to date and knowledgeable of all departmental communication.</li></ul>
General Working Conditions
This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and push/pull equipment frequently. The employee is expected to possess good organization skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. The employee must be compassionate and empathetic. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may frequently bend, reach, grasp, and climb. The employee may need to squat and kneel. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Occasional travel to different locations may be required.

Occasional travel to different locations may be required.

Position Summary: Part-Time, 8am-4pm
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for cleaning residents&rsquo; apartments and public areas according to a schedule and established procedures. You will also perform all laundry duties in our commercial laundry facilities.

Required Experience for Housekeeping:

Primary Responsibilities for Housekeeping:
<ul><li>Cleans all areas as assigned according to the departmental standards, process, and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in assigned areas as directed, according to established standards, observing proper cleaning technique.</li>
<li>Must possess the ability to make independent decisions and follow instructions.</li>
<li>Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.</li>
<li>Must be able to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.</li>
<li>Must be able to relate information concerning a resident&rsquo;s condition.</li>
<li>Uses supplies in an economical and prudent manner; Reports supply and equipment needs to supervisor for replenishing.</li>
<li>Ability to operate the following machines buffers, extraction equipment, vacuums and all commercial laundry equipment.</li>
<li>Additional duties as assigned or needed by Housekeeping Lead.</li>
</ul>
