Job Title: Backend Developer (.NET)Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Onsite)Employment Type: Full-timeJob Summary:We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer with expertise in .NET technologies to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend solutions using .NET Core / .NET Framework, ensuring high performance and responsiveness of applications.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop, maintain, and optimize backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET Framework.</li><li>Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define application requirements.</li><li>Design and implement database structures using SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases.</li><li>Ensure application security and data protection best practices.</li><li>Integrate third-party APIs and services as required.</li><li>Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in production and development environments.</li><li>Optimize application performance and scalability.</li><li>Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.</li><li>Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.</li><li>Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies in backend development.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework.</li><li>Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture.</li><li>Experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).</li><li>Proficiency in Entity Framework (EF) or Dapper for database access.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Azure / AWS / Google Cloud Platform (GCP).</li><li>Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, IdentityServer, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices.</li><li>Understanding of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.) is a plus.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience with .NET 6 or later versions.</li><li>Exposure to cloud-native application development.</li><li>Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience in Scrum teams.</li><li>Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular and React is a plus.</li></ul>Pay: From ﷼5,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Which location are you open to being assigned to? Software Delivery Management<ul><li>Lead end-to-end software delivery across multiple projects using Hybrid methodologies (Agile &amp; Waterfall).</li><li>Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of software solutions.</li><li>Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery performance.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery processes and outcomes.</li></ul>Team Leadership &amp; Capacity Management<ul><li>Manage delivery teams to maximize productivity and performance.</li><li>Oversee resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload optimization.</li><li>Support teams in removing delivery blockers and achieving project objectives.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.</li></ul>Quality &amp; Process Excellence<ul><li>Ensure adherence to software delivery standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.</li><li>Work closely with QA teams to maintain high quality standards throughout the delivery lifecycle.</li><li>Establish and track delivery KPIs and performance metrics.</li><li>Support PMO initiatives and contribute to process maturity improvements.</li></ul>Stakeholder Collaboration<ul><li>Collaborate with Project Managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment.</li><li>Provide regular delivery updates, status reports, and escalation management.</li><li>Facilitate communication between project teams and leadership to support decision-making.</li></ul>SkillsEducation &amp; Experience<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>3&ndash;5 years of experience in software project delivery, Scrum delivery management, or a similar role.</li><li>Experience working within a PMO environment is highly desirable.</li><li>Proven experience managing multiple concurrent software projects.</li></ul>Technical &amp; Delivery Skills<ul><li>Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.</li><li>Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) management.</li><li>Strong knowledge of project planning, resource management, and delivery governance.</li><li>Experience using project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.</li></ul>Core Competencies<ul><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.</li><li>Strong leadership and team management capabilities.</li><li>Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple project streams.</li><li>Data-driven decision-making mindset.</li></ul>Work Location: In person
