This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their expertise in concrete work and construction processes while contributing to impressive building projects.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create smooth, level surfaces according to project specifications</li><li>Set up and dismantle formwork and scaffolding using carpentry skills and hand tools</li><li>Install rebar reinforcement following blueprint specifications to strengthen concrete structures</li><li>Operate power tools and concrete pumps safely and efficiently during various phases of construction</li><li>Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to execute tasks accurately</li><li>Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols at all times</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized worksite by properly handling tools, materials, and debris</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation</li><li>Experience with concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pouring techniques</li><li>Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans with precision</li><li>Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material needs and project timelines</li><li>Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper safety protocol adherence</li><li>Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, plastering, stucco application, caulking, flooring installation, and restoration techniques</li><li>Experience working on construction projects involving heavy lifting, renovation, or site restoration efforts</li></ul>This role is ideal for individuals with prior construction experience who are eager to expand their skills in concrete work while contributing to impactful building projects.
