WHAT YOU'LL DO:
<ul><li>Receive assignments or evaluate news leads and news tips to develop story ideas.
</li><li>Gather and verify factual information through interviews, observation, and research.
</li><li>Organize materials and write stories according to editorial style and format standards.
</li><li>Shoot video and still photos to illustrate stories.
</li><li>Edit or assist in editing videos for all multimedia platforms.
</li><li>Appear on TV in live or pre-recorded situations.
</li><li>Work cooperatively with photographers assigned to stories, if one is assigned.
</li><li>Assist news producer in preparing newscasts.
</li><li>Assist online staff in preparing for multimedia stories.
</li><li>Other duties as assigned.
</li></ul>WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
<ul><li>BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent years of experience preferred
</li><li>Generally, 3+ years of experience in a related field preferred
</li></ul>WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
<ul><li>Computer literacy required, including newsroom computer systems
</li><li>Videography and non-linear editing experience
</li><li>Knowledge of broadcast-quality camera equipment
</li><li>Edit video on non-linear systems
</li><li>Strong broadcast and AP style writing skills
</li><li>Proficient at posting content to various websites
</li><li>Self-motivated and able to work in a deadline-driven environment
</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

<div>WTVF, The E.W. Scripps CBS affiliate in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Digital Content Producer who will organize, write, edit, and update both written and video news content. Creatively showcase this content while being aligned with the station's and/or Scripps brand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
<ul><li>Turn breaking news, enterprise stories, press releases, third party sources, or news tips into unique articles on the web, including but not limited to headlines, thumbnails, short news alerts and teases, interactive embedded elements, outside links, maps, slideshows and custom modules.
</li><li>Post articles to social media to drive engagement and web clicks.
</li><li>Cut video and assign engaging metadata for YouTube, website, app, OTT and third-party services.
</li><li>Build and monitor livestreams to various platforms.
