<div>The Hartford currently has an in-house REMOTE opportunity for a Senior Staff Attorney to litigate cases primarily in Queens, Nassau and Suffolk Counties. This position is an ideal fit for an experienced Attorney with significant trial and litigation experience in Labor Law/Construction site accidents, Premises Liability, Products Liability as well as Commercial and Personal Automobile accidents. The Senior Staff Attorney will work diligently to deliver the best possible result in pending litigation. In this position the attorney reports to the Staff Legal Managing Attorney or Assistant Managing Attorney. The ideal candidate is an experienced Attorney with demonstrated trial experience and the ability to handle cases independently from inception through trial. 
 
RESPONSBILITIES: 
<ul><li>Handle complex and high exposure litigation</li><li>Analyze intricate substantive and procedural legal and factual issues, conduct extensive, well-reasoned legal research, independently develop and present defense strategies on behalf of a variety of clients</li><li>Prepare complex pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motions and briefs in support of defense strategies with minimal supervision because of level of experience and expertise</li><li>Provide effective and timely communications, information, legal advice and other services to clients and claims partners on legal and factual issues in a technology driven environment</li><li>Communicate respectfully with the Court, clients, claims partners, witnesses, opposing counsel and co-counsel in a manner consistent with established office procedures and professional standards.</li><li>Provide for the prompt, efficient and effective disposition of assigned cases</li><li>Independently prepare and present witnesses and evidence at trials, judicial and administrative hearings and alternative dispute resolutions</li><li>Research, draft, file and argue appellate briefs in reviewing courts on behalf of clients</li><li>Provide opinions to Managing Attorney, Assistant Managing Attorney, staff, clients and claims customers</li></ul> 
QUALIFICATIONS: 
<ul><li>Juris Doctorate (JD) from accredited law school and licensed to practice in New York State required. Admitted to practice in federal courts is a plus!</li><li>Knowledge of area courts</li><li>Member in good standing of NY Bar Association</li><li>Minimum of 7 years insurance defense legal experience</li><li>Documented first chair jury trial/appellate expertise</li><li>Strong legal research and writing skills</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize duties and time are a must</li><li>Strong communication, computer and technological skills and the ability to quickly leverage new A.I. tools</li><li>Demonstrated expertise and familiarity in the handling of claim cases and litigation</li></ul></div>

Responsibilities:<ul><li>

The Integration Solutions Consultant position is an exciting opportunity working with external Employee Benefits (EB) customers to enable strategic data connections with their Enrollment and HRIS platforms. The Integration Solutions Consultant operationalizes the latest integration capabilities for the most complex cases while providing guidance to staff, management and project teams on those new capabilities. Working with our external clients, technology platform partners and EB business partners (Operations, Implementation, Sales, Claims, Client Relationship Managers, Product), the Integration Solutions Consultant role will drive consultative conversations to determine the best data solution option for the Customer in both Finalist and Post-sale settings. The Integration Solutions Consultant is responsible for implementing timely, high quality inbound and outbound data connections using Application Programming Interfaces (API&rsquo;s) and traditional Electronic Data Interface (EDI) File Feeds to support complex client needs. The Integration Solutions Consultant will use a variety of skills such as relationship building, adaptability, consultation, data driven decision making and project management skills to prioritize work, respond to multiple deadlines, and balance concurrent tasks successfully in a fast-paced environment. The Integration Solutions Consultant will spend up to 40 percent of their time performing customer facing activities in calls, videoconferences and occasionally at client locations.
Primary Duties:<ul><li>
Lead the most complex Leave Management and National Account Customer data integration implementations providing consultative support with data exchange options involving API and File Feeds.</li><li>
Co-lead technical implementation calls with Implementation Managers and provide consultative guidance on Hartford and HR Tech Platform technical capabilities for topics related to complex data exchange and key integration requirements thereof.</li><li>
Owns HR Tech Platform relationship to independently perform integration configuration of internal systems, provide client platform configuration guidance and complete detailed connection and data testing activities for our customers.</li><li>

We are looking for Clinical and Vocational Rehabilitation Case Managers to work in the dynamic Group Disability Claims Offices to serve the needs of individuals who may not be able to work, due to a disability, and are requesting income replacement through their employer's Hartford Disability Insurance plan.
As a Vocational Rehabilitation Case Manager, you will be responsible for review of ADA (leave), short term, and long term disability claims for possible intervention / assistance with case management. The focus of this position is to assist disabled employees stay at work as well as in returning to work with their own or other employers. This position will also assist the claim examining staff in evaluating vocational information to determine eligibility for benefits under group disability plans. This position requires a sound understanding of clinical issues and functional capabilities as they apply to disabled employees ability to work.

Conduct thorough vocational assessments to determine individuals' skills, aptitudes, interests, physical limitations, and transferable work abilities</li><li>
Develop individualized vocational rehabilitation plans that align with the individual's capabilities, company policies, and relevant legal frameworks.</li><li>
Coordinate and manage a caseload f injured workers, providing ongoing support, guidance, and monitoring throughout the rehabilitation process.</li><li>
Identify suitable employment opportunities and assist individuals with job search strategies, resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement.</li><li>

As a Hartford Global Specialty - Financial Lines entry level Claims Analyst in our Employment Practices Liability (&ldquo;EPL&rdquo;) unit, you will be responsible for handling an inventory of claims-made, large company, middle market and small commercial EPL claims, many of which are Charges with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission or similar State agencies.
