Duties and Responsibilities

<ul><li>Ensures that all raw and packaging material as well as all released finished products meet Heineken standards and required legal and quality specifications.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supports the packaging team in sampling and empty bottle inspections.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Raises out-of-specification parameters to the Daily Control System team.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Follows up on the implementation of quality analysis at the main laboratory and satellite laboratory.

<ul><li>Updates the SAP system when the beer meets quality parameters and is ready to be emptied into cans and bottles.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Abides by all LabStar requirements: calibrations, log book , maintenance of instruments, chemical management, etc.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Conducts behavioral observation across the plant to ensure that food safety parameters are applied.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Maintains hygiene in accordance with the 5S standards as well as Hygiene Order Cleanliness (HOC) standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supports the plant teams in applying Total Productive Management (TPM) standards.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Supports the plant teams in root cause analyses for any breakdowns or issues.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Applies safety standards in the laboratory by identifying hazardous chemicals and setting identification labels. Ensures that Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used before handling any hazardous substances.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Prepares standard operating procedures for product tasting methods and PPE use.</li></ul>
<ul><li>Handles daily sensory taste testing for products by preparing samples for certified testers. Ensures that the sensory evaluation results are sent to the Heineken global team.</li></ul>

Senior Laboratory Analyst - Quality - Gianaclis Plant

Job Purpose
 
The purpose of this role is to handle planning, organization, and coordination of material commercial procurement operations in accordance with overall business goals and to assist the procurement department in the analysis, evaluation, and development of sourcing choices.
 
Duties And Responsibilities
 
Operational Role
 1. Purchases goods, materials, or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
 2. Ensures continuous supply of required goods and materials and communicates any supply problems which may pose a risk or impact on business operations.
 3. Secures all necessary supplies and commercial services, and assures delivery in accordance with specifications, on schedule, in full, and at the lowest possible cost.
 4. Prepares tenders and participates in discussions in order to ensure the supply of products and services required by Heineken and ABC at the best possible terms and conditions.
 5. Receives and processes supplier invoices and organizes payment arrangements.
 6. Provides the necessary estimates to process purchase orders, together with all necessary precise requirements.
 7. Ensures the timely provision of complete and proper import documents in order to guarantee prompt customs clearance and the avoidance of any delays and/or demurrage fines.
 Strategic Continuous Improvement
 8. Develops creative and innovative procurement processes.
 9. Develops ideas and strategies to improve operational efficiency, add value, aid business performance and work towards a strategy of continuous improvement.
 10. Monitors market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers.
 11. Participates in new product innovation (NPI) initiatives to guarantee the effective introduction of new products, as well as the timely provision of any associated activities and materials.
 
Supplier Management
 12. Develops and maintains proper relationships with the strategic suppliers.
 13. Performs and maintains supplier performance evaluations and addresses development areas.
 14. Prepares a report on supplier performance management for assessment purposes.
 15. Ensures the OTIF of the materials purchase of the agreed quality and quantity across all the categories.
 16. Identifies and evaluates new suppliers according to established procedures.
 17. Negotiates contracts, improves prices and terms of business with suppliers and reviews opportunities to make business savings utilizing negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods.
 18. Oversees supplier contract development and administration in coordination with the legal team.
 19. Manages the working capital through negotiations for an optimal payment plan for the company’s purchased materials.
 20. Develops suppliers’ Sustainability Capabilities such as Reducing Carbon footprint.
 21. Ensures proper contracting across different categories to assure that business value is secured.
 22. Ensures suppliers onboard are properly qualified from a quality and safety perspective.
 23. Registers all opportunity evaluations, sourcing strategies, sourcing activities, and supplier codes on the designated system.

Senior Buyer - Business services & Commerce

Job Purpose
 
Supports the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner.
 Duties and Responsibilities
 Operational and Process Responsibilities - Purchase to Pay
 1. Performs a three way match to ensure that the data is matching between the purchase order, invoice and receipt.
 2. Aligns with the procurement department on goods versus invoices received.
 3. Follows up on all vendors’ open items and performs manual clearing of vendors’ payments.
 4. Resolves any invoice discrepancies and follows up with buyers.
 5. Performs clearance and adjustment entries.
 6. Prepares the monthly payroll entries and adjusts payroll reports on SAP System.
 7. Follows up on all tasks utilizing RunBook system or any other designated system to ensure that deadlines are met with no delay.
 8. Prepares and processes the related accounts’ payable entries.
 9. Conducts self-assessments on all controls of Account Payable.
 10. Completes the receiving, processing, tracking, and recording of local and foreign vendors’ invoices and third party transactions in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.
 11. Assists in monthly end closing procedures.
 12. Follows up on monthly intercompany reconciliations and handles the reconciliation between books and vendor statements.
 13. Issues non-trading invoices for intercompany transactions and monitors outstanding payments.
 14. Prepares the internal and external audit requirements reports.
 15. Participates in the periodic inventory counts.
 16. Assists in streamlining and continuously improving the accounts’ payable process.
