Sports / Physical Education Teacher

Key Responsibilities Academic &amp; Classroom Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare and maintain a Montessori-based prepared environment that promotes material-based, hands-on learning.</li><li>Present Montessori materials accurately and sequentially, ensuring children understand the correct use of each material.</li><li>Facilitate self-directed learning by allowing children to work independently with Montessori materials.</li><li>Ensure materials are complete, clean, well-organized, and accessible at all times.</li><li>Introduce materials according to the child&rsquo;s developmental readiness.</li><li>Observe children&rsquo;s interaction with materials and adjust guidance accordingly.</li><li>Maintain classroom discipline through positive guidance and redirection, not punishment.</li></ul>Material-Based Learning Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement hands-on, concrete learning experiences using Montessori apparatus across all learning areas (Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Mathematics, and Cultural Studies).</li><li>Encourage learning through exploration, repetition, and self-correction using Montessori materials.</li><li>Rotate and introduce materials to sustain engagement and progressive learning.</li><li>Ensure children learn concepts through manipulation of materials before abstract instruction.</li><li>Monitor material usage to identify learning gaps and plan future presentations.</li><li>Guide assistant teachers in correct handling and presentation of materials.</li></ul>Student Development<ul><li>Support children&rsquo;s independence, concentration, coordination, and order through material-based activities.</li><li>Foster confidence and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.</li><li>Identify developmental or learning concerns through material interaction and report to management.</li><li>Ensure emotional well-being and safety of all students.</li></ul>Planning &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly lesson plans integrating material-based activities.</li><li>Maintain observation records, progress reports, and individual learning portfolios.</li><li>Document student progress based on material mastery and skill development.</li></ul>Parent &amp; Communication<ul><li>Educate parents on the importance of material-based learning in Montessori education.</li><li>Communicate student progress with reference to materials used and skills achieved.</li><li>Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events.</li></ul>Professional Responsibilities<ul><li>Follow school policies, procedures, and Montessori standards.</li><li>Collaborate with assistants, co-teachers, and school leadership.</li><li>Participate in training sessions and professional development related to Montessori materials.</li><li>Maintain punctuality, professionalism, and ethical conduct.</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma or Certification in Montessori Education (AMI / AMS or equivalent)</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred (Education / Early Childhood Education)</li><li>Minimum 2&ndash;3 years of experience in a Montessori classroom</li><li>Strong command of Montessori materials and presentations</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Expertise in material-based and hands-on learning</li><li>Strong observation and assessment skills</li><li>Effective classroom management</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Patience, empathy, and professionalism</li></ul>Performance EvaluationPerformance will be evaluated based on:<ul><li>Effective use of Montessori materials</li><li>Prepared environment and material organization</li><li>Student engagement and progress</li><li>Professional conduct and punctuality</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs25,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per monthApplication Question(s):<ul><li>Is Gulistan-e-Jauhar Block 7 a commutable location for you?</li><li>Are you comfortable communicating in English?</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Intermediate (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Teaching : 1 year (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
