This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional passionate about retail management, customer service, and team development to make a significant impact within our organization.Responsibilities<ul><li>Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to achieve individual and store sales goals through effective management and coaching.</li><li>Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies aligned with company objectives to increase revenue and market share.</li><li>Conduct employee orientation, training, and ongoing development to ensure team members are knowledgeable about products, sales techniques, and customer service standards.</li><li>Oversee inventory management, merchandising, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to optimize store presentation and profitability.</li><li>Manage daily store operations including cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory control.</li><li>Recruit new talent by interviewing candidates, evaluating skills, and selecting suitable team members to strengthen the sales force.</li><li>Foster excellent customer service by ensuring staff provide friendly, professional assistance while maintaining effective communication skills across diverse customer groups.</li><li>Monitor retail math metrics such as sales per hour, average transaction value, and conversion rates to identify opportunities for improvement.</li><li>Coordinate marketing initiatives and promotional activities to attract customers and boost store visibility.</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling, employee scheduling (shift management), health &amp; safety standards, and store procedures.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Proven experience in retail sales management or assistant manager roles with supervising experience.</li><li>Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus.</li><li>Demonstrated ability in recruiting, training &amp; development, employee orientation, and leadership within a retail environment.</li><li>Proficiency in managing POS systems, inventory management software, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and retail math calculations.</li><li>Knowledge of merchandising techniques, pricing strategies, marketing fundamentals, and store operations including stock control and inventory management.</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.</li><li>Experience with wireless sales or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.</li><li>Ability to handle cash accurately while maintaining high standards of customer service etiquette such as phone etiquette.</li><li>Strong time management skills with a focus on operational efficiency; previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred.
