POSITION OVERVIEW
Work effectively as part of the housekeeping service team to provide efficient and courteous service. Primarily responsible for, but not limited to, housekeeping service areas on guest floors, ensuring hotel's standards of cleanliness; providing linen supplies for room attendants and stocking floor closets; delivering and retrieving items requested by guests and supervisors; and accounting for all stocks required by housekeeping operations and reporting to Housekeeping Manager any shortage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Perform general cleaning duties.</li><li>
Deliver extra beds and cots to guest rooms.</li><li>
Strip guest rooms.</li><li>
Clean floors, shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.</li><li>
Occasionally move or rearrange guest furniture.</li><li>
Assist with unloading and storing of orders from the storeroom.</li><li>
Dispose of trash as needed following recycling procedures.</li><li>
Operate cart through guest floors to assigned rooms.</li><li>
Deliver guest and housekeeping requests in timely manner. Input real-time work orders via KYC and any guest concerns during interaction. Convey with clarity in KYC any and all guest opportunities.</li><li>
Following proper Lost &amp; Found procedures to ensure lost items are immediately reported when found.</li><li>
Check chemical dispensers and refill.</li><li>
Remove in room dining service trays from guest floor landings to proper designated area.</li><li>
Speak with others using clear and professional language.</li><li>
Be a team player by supporting team to reach common goals and know, comply with, and enforce all hotel and departmental standards, policies, and procedures.</li><li>
Multi-task in special projects.</li><li>
Ensure all equipment and facilities are functioning properly and report any malfunctions to Housekeeping Supervisors/Managers.</li><li>
Take inventory of bathroom and bedroom amenities, toilet paper, other cleaning supplies and report the shortage to Housekeeping Manager .</li><li>
Perform any other reasonable projects and duties as requested by the leadership team.</li><li>
Consistently always conduct oneself in a professional manner and work professionally with colleagues and team leaders with a team minded approach.</li><li>
Attend pre-shift meetings to learn shift details, including property and guest expectations. Participate and attend all required meetings.</li><li>
Greet, welcome and acknowledge all guests by name and respond to their requests in a courteous and professional manner always using professional language. Remain attentive to the needs of all guests, providing them with dependable, punctual and enthusiastic service. Provide courteous, friendly and efficient service to all internal and external guests. Thank guests with genuine appreciation.</li><li>
Be a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems, exercise good judgement, resolutions must be thoughtful, and with the guest in mind. Immediate follow-up with a leader is expected.</li><li>
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards with self and colleagues.</li><li>
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary and guest information.</li><li>
