We are seeking a motivated CAD drafter in the Bridgeport, CT area. This position requires knowledge of steel fabrication processes, including CNC/plasma machinery, welding, fastening, and tolerances. The CAD Drafter will ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and production-ready, while supporting efficient, safe, and high-quality fabrication.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Develops detailed design drawings and specifications using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.</li><li>
Coordinates with and consults colleagues to design, layout, or detail components and systems and to resolve design or other problems.</li><li>
Computes mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for components or machinery using computer-assisted equipment.</li><li>
Manipulates field measurements per customer and sales orders.</li><li>
Allocates materials to provide the highest yield, utilizing remnants when available.</li><li>
Meets with the customer to create preliminary designs and presents them to the customer for approval or revision.</li><li>
Develops an understanding of multiple CAD systems to program various sets of machinery.</li><li>
Create products by cutting, forming, and joining metal materials in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.</li><li>
Operate, program, or support fabrication equipment, including CNC machines, plasma cutters, and other machinery.</li><li>
Attends weekly production meetings.</li><li>

Qualifications:
<p>
Education and Experience:</p><ul><li>
Fabrication/manufacturing Experience.</li><li>
General knowledge of 2D/CAD/Draft Sight.</li><li>
Ability to correctly read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
</li><li>Ability to effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; work alone and in a team environment.</li><li>
Communication and time management skills.

CAD Drafter

<div>Overview:
<div>We are seeking a qualified Traffic Supervisor to lead safe and efficient steel transportation and logistics operations. This role oversees drivers, shipping personnel, fleet maintenance, and DOT compliance while managing scheduling and routing. The position partners with leadership to drive cost savings, operational efficiency, and accurate recordkeeping through data-driven analysis.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Oversee safety, performance, and daily operations of the Richmond Traffic Team.</li><li>
Schedule, dispatch, and route drivers for steel deliveries in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.</li><li>
Coordinate with sales teams and customers to meet delivery needs and timelines.</li><li>
Monitor driver performance, support reviews, and assist with disciplinary actions.</li><li>
Manage fleet maintenance, inspections, and preventive maintenance scheduling.</li><li>
Maintain DOT compliance, including driver and equipment records.</li><li>
Track fuel usage, tire inventory, and overall fleet efficiency.</li><li>
Ensure proper utilization and compliance of third-party carriers.</li><li>
Drive cost-saving initiatives, including overtime reduction and operational improvements.</li><li>
Support projects (e.g., pallet recycling) and maintain regular communication with drivers.</li><li>
Other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<p>
Education &amp; Experience:
</p><ul><li>Minimum 4-year degree related to Logistics and Distribution and/or 3 years of prior fleet dispatch/management experience.</li><li>
Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures with multiple distribution centers.</li><li>
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required so that we meet customer expectations.</li><li>
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
</li></ul><p>Skills:</p><ul><li>
Experience with Road-net, E-logs, Fleetmatics, and Geotab software a plus</li><li>
Experience in flatbed operations a plus</li><li>
Experience with INVEX, StelPlan (or other ERP/WMS platforms) and Roadnet a plus.</li><li>
Must have knowledge of DOT compliance items</li><li>
Must be able to interact with all levels of management and all colleagues.</li><li>
Must be flexible and willing to work &ldquo;off schedule&rdquo; on occasion.</li><li>
Highly organized individual with a commitment to consistent attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Floor Care: Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, stripping, waxing, and polishing hard floors and carpets.</li><li>
Sanitization: Disinfecting high-touch points, cleaning glass/mirrors, and thoroughly sanitizing restrooms and breakrooms.</li><li>
Waste Management: Emptying trash and recycling receptacles, and transporting waste to central disposal areas.</li><li>
Inventory Management: Monitoring cleaning supply levels and notifying management when to reorder products.</li><li>
Building Maintenance: Performing minor repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, unclogging sinks, painting, upkeep projects) and reporting major repair needs to facility managers.</li><li>

Qualifications:

Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs), bend, and perform strenuous tasks.</li><li>
Time Management: Capability to work efficiently with minimal supervision and follow detailed daily or weekly cleaning checklists</li><li>
