Beginner Grounds Keepers are welcome &ndash; while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position.</p>

Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Prepares soil for planting beds and lawn areas</li>
<li>Operates mechanical equipment such as mowers, weed trimmers and utility vehicles</li>
<li>Plants trees, shrubs, turf grass and flowers</li>
<li>Prunes and trims trees and shrubs</li>
<li>Maintains a clean landscape environment through trash removal and debris cleanup</li>
<li>Maintains landscape through application of mulch, water, fertilizer and grooming</li>
<li>Incorporates safe work practices in job performance</li>
<li>Regular and reliable attendance</li>
<li>Performs other duties as required</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Education and Experience Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li>
<li>Valid Driver&rsquo;s License</li>
<li>Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e., the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English)</li>

<p></p><div><p>Maggie Valley Club &amp; Resort is hiring for a Housekeeping Supervisor! The Housekeeping Supervisor determines the best utilization of manpower through efficient scheduling and routing of housekeeping staff members.</p>
<div><b>
Essential Duties:</b></div>
<ul><li><div>Organizes and prioritizes scheduling and routing of staff based on occupancy, arrivals, and departures in order to have product guest ready at established check-in time.</div>
</li><li><div>Maintains log of room entry key cards, pagers, and radios.</div>
</li><li><div>Maintains payroll and productivity reports to monitor labor expense. Reviews two-week payroll report.</div>
</li><li><div>Communicates with associates via radio to facilitate changes/modifications in work assignment and fulfill guest needs</div>
</li><li><div>Inputs unit readiness status in the lodging system and communicate with the front desk to update on status, and special requests.</div>
</li><li><div>Coordinates activities with outside vendors such as firewood delivery, snow removal, carpet cleaning, and pest control service.</div>
</li><li><div>Coordinates with Banquet and Set Up departments the placement and removal of equipment in units.</div>
</li><li><div>Performs various clerical duties such as report distribution, filing, run nightly backup report, completion of various forms, distribution of paychecks, etc.</div>
</li><li><div>Works with Laundry department on identifying linen needs.</div>
</li><li><div>Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.</div>
</li><li><div>Regular and reliable attendance.</div>

<div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Assists with the overall upkeep of Mansion Ridge.</li>
<li>Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning.</li>
<li>Assists in educating players regarding the game.</li>
<li>Directs start of play when necessary.</li>
<li>Maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs.</li>
<li>Services the customer who is renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return.</li>
<li>Assists with food and beverage activities.</li>

<li>Sweep with a broom, private stairways, and vacuum if carpeted.</li>
<li>Replace sanitary bathroom supplies and maintain ample inventory.</li>
<li>Sweep, dust mop, or damp mop floors and entrance areas.</li>
<li>Performs other appropriate tasks as necessary.</li>

<div><b>General Purpose:</b></div>
<div>Assists in directing and overseeing all food and beverage facets including but not limited to guest satisfaction and customer service, personnel, menu mix, ordering, vendor preference, food production, inventory, and catering functions.</div>

<div><b>Essential Duties:</b></div>
<ul><li>Lead responsibility in overseeing &amp; managing Catering &amp; Tournament F&amp;B events.</li>
<li>Assists management in running other F&amp;B outlets and service.</li>
<li>Role includes nights and weekend work to match up to business/event needs.</li>
<li>Sets and implement schedules for the restaurant, banquet and beverage cart departments.</li>
<li>Manages and assists in the ordering of all alcohol beverages, maintains liquor pour cost, implements recipes and retail pricing of product.</li>

<li>Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, evaluating performance, rewarding, and disciplining associates; addressing complaints and resolving problems.</li>
<li>Manages department members that may include, but is not limited to: Restaurant Manager, Catering Manager, Executive Chef, Host, Set Up Staff, Cooks, Servers.</li>
<li>Assures that effective orientation and training are given to each new associate. Develops ongoing training programs and tests for comprehension.</li>
<li>Monitors business volume forecast and plans accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity, costs and other expenses.</li>
<li>Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.</li>
