Job Summary

Trust Automation's Paid Internship Program is designed to offer opportunities for students to help build their resumes, apply academic knowledge, and network with professionals in their fields of interest while encouraging participants to obtain their educational degree or professional certification.

Duties and Responsibilities

<li>Help bring Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing best practices to the company</li>
<li>Identify gaps and opportunities for reductions in labor and lead-time</li>
<li>Design production cell/line(s) for throughout, visual management, ergonomics</li>
<li>Perform time studies, calculations and simulations to validate current and future state</li>
<li>Iterate and improve on solutions using PDCA/DMAIC</li>
</ul>
Position Requirements

<li>Must be authorized to work in the United States</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to perform the job duties as assigned</li>
<li>Must successfully pass a background check and all pre-employment requirements</li>

Physical Requirements
<ul>
<li>Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person, on the telephone or virtually.</li>
<li>Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator or assemble/manufacture intricate items.</li>
<li>Seeing to read a variety of materials.</li>
<li>Sitting or standing for extended period of time.</li>
<li>Physical agility to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.</li>
<li>Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.</li>
