As a Caregiver/Nurse Aid at Trustwell Living, your responsibilities will include:
<ul>
<li>Adhere to and convey a philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.</li>
<li>Assist with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, and assistance with other care while encouraging self-care and independence.</li>
<li>Provide services as indicated on resident service plans, including but not limited to bathing assistance, toileting assistance, transfer, and mobility assistance.</li>
<li>Build relationships with the amazing people who live in our community.</li></ul> 


The ideal candidate will:
<ul>
<li>Possess a high school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Completion of the current state-specific certification, where required.</li>
<li>Be willing to obtain CPR/First Aid Certification</li>
<li>Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment</li>
<li>Must be available some weekends and holidays*</li></ul>

Clinical Leader &ndash; Memory Care, Assisted Living

Primary Responsibilities:

As the Memory Care Director, you will be a critical member of the leadership team overseeing the clinical operations of our Memory Care wing of our assisted living community. Your key duties will include supervising care and medication staff, ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents, and maintaining open communication with residents, their families, and medical providers. Hands on working with residents, staff and families to guide them through the dementia journey.
To thrive in this role and contribute to the Trustwell Living community, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
<ul>
<li>A valid and current nursing license in good standing.</li>
<li>An effective communicator who can connect with staff, residents, and their families.</li>
<li>Strong customer service skills and the ability to effectively resolve issues and find solutions.</li>
<li>A deep commitment to supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents.</li>
<li>Ability to be flexible.</li>
<li>A passion for nursing, with a focus on the nursing process of assessments, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes.</li>
<li>Desire to continually build knowledge and skill sets to enhance our memory care programing.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills to utilize EMARs, assessments, and care planning.</li></ul>

<li>Be there for the important moments&mdash;help residents with admissions, transfers, and discharges.</li>
<li>And of course, lend a hand with anything else that helps our community thrive!</li></ul> 


Qualifications:

<li>Highschool diploma/GED</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role</li>
<li>CPR/First Aid certification required</li>
<li>Completion of the Qualified Medication Aide program with a current license based on state requirements</li>
<li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds</li>
<li>Able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English</li></ul>
