Job Description 
Our Real Estate team in Abu Dhabi is working on a wide range of projects, which could include Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, Hospitality, Leisure and Mixed-Use developments.
Projects are primarily new build but could include fit out and refurbishment.

SCOPE:
Senior Cost Managers lead commissions of varying types and sizes, depending upon the complexity of the project. Our projects generally are of significant size and value. 
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE:<ul><li>
To perform the role of the Commission Manager, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.</li><li>
To provide excellent service delivery to clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation.</li><li>
To ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service from pre contract to handover.</li></ul>
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Detailed knowledge of and experience in the Real Estate / Property sector working for a professional cost consultancy.</li><li>
Experience of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement of building works for estimating, report writing and preparation of Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.</li><li>
Experience of different procurement methods, single stage, two stage and design and build preferred.</li><li>
Experience of post-contract services, interim applications, change management, variation valuation and extension of time claims.</li><li>
Detailed experience of working with standard form contracts, FIDIC preferred, and administration of contract procedures.</li><li>
Demonstrable experience in client-facing roles, professional approach and confidence in presenting to clients, other consultants and project stakeholders.</li><li>
Demonstrable experience in dealing with contractors personnel with confidence and assurance.</li><li>
Report writing, Estimate reports, Cost reports, Procurement reports and Tender reports.</li></ul>
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:<ul><li>
Estimating and cost planning to include producing and presenting the final cost plan.</li><li>
Production of full Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.</li><li>
Tendering and procuring, including managing the pre-qualification stage, producing the tender list, preparing preambles and preliminaries, tender queries, tender analysis, producing the tender report and compiling the contractual documents.</li><li>
Dealing effectively with post contract cost variances and the change control processes, where applicable.</li><li>
Taking personal responsibility for making cost checks and carrying out valuations on larger projects and in all cases ensuring that timely and accurate cost checking and valuation takes place.</li><li>
Producing pre-contract, post-contract and ad-hoc reports and presenting them to the client.</li><li>
Negotiating with contractors and agreeing final accounts.</li><li>
Interfacing with the client, contractors and other consultants, at all project stages.</li><li>
Where appropriate, leading a cost management team, ensuring that they deliver on all of the above accountabilities.</li></ul> 
Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar.</li><li>
MRICS</li><li>
Minimum 7 years&rsquo; experience in similar roles.</li><li>
Prior UAE experience is essential.</li><li>
Prior consultancy experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>
Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters, such as different procurement routes, value management and value engineering.</li><li>
Knowledge of CostX preferred.</li><li>

Job Description 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an MEP Senior Cost Manager, to join our busy team in Dubai. Supporting our clients to deliver projects and programmes across a variety of sectors.
The position will be focused the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) specific deliverables within a larger project.
The individual must be self-motivated and Client facing (both internal &amp; external) with the ability to manage multiple projects and clients. This will involve establishing early budgets, early estimating, and cost planning, managing a design team to the budget, tendering and procurement (single and two stage) and post contract reporting. The role may also include management of other Assistant Cost Managers and Cost Managers within the MEP team.
A good knowledge of MEP systems and supply chain is fundamental with the ability to work both collaboratively but robustly with any main contractor and their MEP supply chain. 
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Description 

Turner &amp; Townsend are seeking a Preconstruction Architect / Designer to lead the design and planning of electric vehicle (EV) operations facilities. These facilities support daily vehicle operations and include infrastructure for charging, servicing, and general support functions. This role combines architectural expertise with strategic planning and technical coordination, contributing to the development of scalable, efficient, and compliant facilities across multiple locations. 
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Create site layouts, feasibility studies, and early-stage design concepts for new and existing EV operations facilities.</li><li>
Produce detailed drawings and documentation for facility components including service areas, support spaces, and site infrastructure.</li><li>
Design and coordinate EV charging layouts, ensuring compliance with accessibility standards and electrical requirements.</li><li>
Work closely with internal teams (engineering, operations, real estate, facilities) and external partners to align design with operational needs.</li><li>
Manage permitting processes and ensure designs meet applicable building codes, zoning regulations, and environmental standards.</li><li>
Contribute to the creation of design standards and playbooks to ensure consistency across projects and streamline future development.</li><li>
Prepare construction documentation and review shop drawings to ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution.</li><li>
Support long-term infrastructure planning and real estate strategy through design expertise and technical guidance.</li><li>
Participate in site selection and evaluation, providing architectural input during due diligence and planning phases.</li><li>
Conduct design reviews and site visits to ensure construction aligns with approved plans and standards.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field.</li><li>
10+ years of experience in architectural design and pre-construction, ideally in transportation, industrial, or technical facilities.</li><li>
Experience designing EV charging infrastructure and coordinating with electrical systems.</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural design tools.</li><li>
Strong understanding of building codes (ADA, NEC) and permitting processes.</li><li>
Excellent project management and organizational skills.</li><li>
Strong communication and collaboration abilities across diverse teams.</li><li>
Creative problem-solving and strategic thinking.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and adapt to shifting priorities.</li><li>
Experience developing design standards or playbooks for repeatable infrastructure projects.</li><li>
Familiarity with sustainability principles and energy-efficient design strategies.</li></ul> 

Additional Information 

The salary range for this full-time role is $130K-$160K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner &amp; Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate&rsquo;s experience and qualifications.

Job Description 
SCOPE: 
Cost Managers support our commission leads in varying types and sizes of projects either in the pre-contract estimating stages or post contract on site. Our projects can be complex and of significant size and value.<div>
MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE: 
<ul><li>To support the Commission Manager&rsquo;s, taking responsibility for allocated tasks.</li><li>To provide excellent service delivery to clients, gain their trust and enhance our reputation.</li><li>To ensure that client objectives are met through the delivery of an effective cost management service from pre contract to construction completion.</li></ul></div><div>
KEY EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 
<ul><li>Good knowledge of and experience Civil / Arch /Structure /ID background), preferably MRICS or working towards sitting APC</li><li>Solid experience and capability of pre-contract services from feasibility through to tendering, measurement and pricing of building and for estimating and preparation of Bills of Quantities.</li><li>Experience of post-contract services, interim applications, change management processes and variation valuation.</li><li>Experience of working with standard form contracts, FIDIC preferred and knowledge of contract procedures.</li><li>Professional approach and confident in performing your role.</li><li>Ability to work with contractors personnel with confidence and assurance.</li><li>Self-motivated with the ability to work well within a team and perform well under pressure.</li><li>Procurement experience would be an advantage as well as experience in client facing.</li><li>Experience of high level benchmarks for various asset typologies, building elements and extensive knowledge of the latest market rates.</li><li>Demonstrable experience of successfully working within a measurement and / or post-contract teams.</li><li>Demonstrable experience in dealing with contractors personnel with confidence and assurance.</li><li>Provide clear, correctly formatted and articulated writing where required for bills of quantities, cost estimate reports, cost reports, procurement reports and tender reports.</li></ul></div>

Skills Required:
