To support the implementation of an integrated Risk Management process for a large-scale infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:<ul><li>
Plan, design and implement risk management processes that are tailored to client needs and that align with industry best practice.</li><li>
Actively articulate the benefits of risk management.</li><li>

Qualifications 
In order to be able to undertake the role as required, candidates will be expected to demonstrate the following capabilities:<ul><li>
Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 10-15 years relevant work experience or previous proven experience in a risk management environment.</li><li>

Job Description 
Turner &amp; Townsend is currently recruiting for a Planning/Scheduling Manager to join our data centre team in the Middle East.

Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Implement Project Planning &amp; Scheduling strategy, plans and procedures, reflecting both Company and contractor roles, responsibilities and expectations</li><li>
Assess, review and monitor detailed Primavera P6 schedules including WBS, activities, relationships, constraints, and resource loading according to Client Specifications.</li><li>
Conduct schedule analysis, forecasts, and performance tracking (e.g., SPI, CPI, Earned Value)</li><li>
Integrate various contract packages into master plan schedule</li><li>
Review contractor&rsquo;s submitted schedule and make recommendations to client</li><li>
Prepare regular internal/external weekly and monthly progress report for management and client</li><li>
Develop a project control procedure to monitor the progress of project.</li><li>
Interact with contractor and verify the project data to update project schedule</li><li>
Support project management in key decision-making with reliable scheduling insights</li><li>
Develop mitigation plans</li><li>
Assess any contractor&rsquo;s extension of time claim and prepare defense claim report</li><li>
Put forward recommendation report for any contractor&rsquo;s EOT claim</li><li>
Analyze critical path and constraints to determine the effect of changes to project schedule. Ensure that the Financial Periods are set and followed by the Contractor in the Schedule</li><li>
Analyze and highlight the overall schedule impact of any variance / change order.</li><li>
Prepare resourcing plans for the overall and individual project phases, identifying any excessive peak numbers and making recommendations for peak leveling.</li><li>
Ensure that schedule related from vendors, suppliers, engineering and construction contractors of projects is provided as feedback into the planning and scheduling systems.</li><li>
Working closely with various disciplines in project teams to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the schedules produced.</li><li>
Provide onsite progress measurement and verification of billing.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
10+ years of experience in project planning and scheduling, with a focus on complex construction projects.</li><li>
Track record of working on the construction of hyperscale Data Centre projects from inception to completion</li><li>
Expert experience level using project scheduling tools (MS Project, Primavera P3, P5, P6), Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI.</li><li>
Proven experience with resource loading, cost/schedule integration, and baseline management</li><li>
Experience in coordinating multiple sources of schedule performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project status reports required for large scale projects</li><li>
Strong technical understanding of construction methodologies and contract terms</li><li>
Familiarity with international project management standards (PMI)</li><li>
Ability to lead, coordinate &amp; organize multiple sources of schedule inputs/performance data into a master schedule platform and deliver project/program status reports as required.</li><li>
The tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions.</li><li>
Develops good working relationships with project team.</li><li>
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li></ul>
