What you'll do:<ul><li>
Deliver engaging, individualized virtual instruction tailored to each student's IEP goals, accommodations, and learning profile</li><li>
Create structured lesson plans that align with student goals, grade-level standards, and the specific accommodations or modifications each student requires</li><li>
Adapt instruction in real time based on student questions, progress, and engagement</li><li>
Track student progress and communicate effectively with families and, where applicable, school district partners</li></ul>

Requirements 
Requirements<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree required (degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred)</li><li>
Experience working with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, or other special education needs &mdash; whether as a credentialed SPED teacher, paraprofessional, interventionist, or tutor</li><li>
Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and common accommodations (extended time, chunked instruction, multi-sensory approaches, etc.)</li><li>
Ability to design and deliver lesson plans aligned to student goals and accommodations</li><li>
Strong virtual instruction skills &mdash; comfort with video conferencing, digital whiteboards, and keeping students engaged online</li><li>
Ability to pass a background check</li><li>
Reliable computer, internet, webcam, and quiet workspace</li></ul>
Preferred (not required):<ul><li>
Active or previous teaching credential, especially in Special Education</li><li>
Experience with specific methodologies such as Orton-Gillingham, Wilson Reading, or structured literacy</li><li>
Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus</li></ul>
