<div></div><div>Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a highly skilled Transportation Manager for its state-of-the-art plant located in Lawrence, MA.
</div>
<div></div><div><b>Compensation:</b> The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $105,000. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Schedule: </b><b>Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Flexibility is needed to cover as early as 3AM.
</b></div>
</div><div></div><div><div><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Recruits and trains all drivers</li>
<li>Interacts with our full-service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles (all vehicles are automatic)</li>
<li>Manages payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets</li>
<li>Manages work performance and results of all drivers
<ul><li>Sets effective schedules to operate within budget</li>
<li>Prioritizes work effectively</li>
<li>Sets high expectations and goals</li>
<li>Takes responsibility for achieving performance results</li>
<li>Follows through to completion of work projects</li>
<li>Assures employees follow Unitex policies and procedures</li>
</ul></li></ul><ul><li>Manages and coordinates all company safety procedures</li>
<li>Builds effective customer relationships and resolves issues in timely ways</li></ul><br>
<div></div><div><b>Job Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li><b>MUST HAVE CDL LICENSE (A or B) AND HAVE DRIVING EXPERIENCE</b></li>
<li>5+ years of successful transportation management experience with proven results</li>
<li>Full understanding of DOT rules, regulations and requirements</li>
<li>Must have experience working with commercial drivers and regulations</li>
<li>Experience supervising a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting</li>
<li>Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision</li>
<li>Strong Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills</li>
