<div></div><div>Unitex is experiencing unprecedented growth! Due to this growth, we are in search of a highly skilled Transportation Supervisor for our facility in Lawrence, MA.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Compensation:</b> the salary range for this position is $75,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation decisions are based on factors such as experience, seniority, location, and other permissible job-related factors.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Schedule:</b></div>
<div><b>Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday 7am &ndash; 4:30pm
</b></div><div><b>Friday and Saturday 3am &ndash; 12pm</b></div>
<div><b>Off Sunday &amp; Monday</b></div>
<div></div><div><b>Responsibilities include but not limited to:</b></div>
<ul><li>Recruits and trains all drivers</li>
<li>Interacts with our full-service leasing company to ensure proper maintenance of all vehicles</li>
<li>Supervises payroll, truck leasing and fuel budgets</li>
<li>Supervises work performance and results of all drivers
<ul><li>Sets effective schedules to operate within budget</li>
<li>Prioritizes work effectively</li>
<li>Sets high expectations and goals</li>
<li>Takes responsibility for achieving performance results</li>
<li>Follows through to completion of work projects</li>
<li>Assures employees follow Unitex policies and procedures</li>
</ul></li><li>Supervises and coordinates all company safety procedures</li>
<li>Builds effective customer relationships and resolves issues in timely ways</li>
</ul><div><b>Job Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>2+ years of successful transportation management experience with proven results</li>
<li><b>MUST HAVE Class A CDL and supervisory experience</b></li>
<li>Experience managing people in a fast-paced, time-sensitive setting</li>
<li>Complete knowledge of DOT requirements</li>
<li>Independent thinker and decision maker that requires minimal supervision</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel and basic PC skills</li>
